Hi Sir I have recently bought fujitsu m2010 wireless notebook. It was ok at the begining but today the wireless is not working and not able to detect any netwrok. The OS is window 7 starter.

Have you accidendtly switched the wireless off ??? you may of pressed it by mistake and disabled have a look around on the side the front or on or around the key board there should be a tab or slide switch with a picture on or beside it that looks a bit like a satallite depending whether its a slide or push swith try to activate it by pressing it or sliding it and holding in place for a few seconds

on some laptops you may have to press the blue FN switch bottom left the same time as the hold down wireless key

hope this will sort it for you

good luck

XPS M2010 boots in and everything works but fans

You can try installing this program that controls the fans on a Dell laptop. If this does not work you have a hardware issue with either the fans or the main board.

Hi, there are some vertical red line (Not a solid line but just a group of red dot) On My XPS m2010.It just come from computer starts till it comes to windows. Some says it was a motherboard problem, some...

The M2010 has a separate discrete video card from the motherboard.
If the dots are not seen in Windows, then it might just be a BIOS glitch (Try flashing to most current)
I'd only bother with it if the problem exists in Windows and the Diagnostics

My dell xps M2010 laptop is not working with the battery but it comes on when i plug in the ac adaptor charger. when i checked the bios setting it says battery not recognized and later, when i turned on...

Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.

Your power adapter is bad and is not able to charge the battery at all (which is why the battery is dead). Yes, this is common with laptops because of the constant plug in and plug out. Yo can purchase a new adapter for less than $25.00 on eBay. Anywhere else it will cost three times more.

Once you replace the adapter, the battery will get a full charge and you will be up and running again.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I will assist.

M2010 will only eject cd occasionally. Is there a manual eject?

All you have to do is press on the door for the cd and it will open.

Dell XPS M2010 Starting Problems

If they've changed everything else, why didn't they replace the power supply? That's the next part to target for replacement, other than the on/off switch (or button) itself. With no system board beep codes it's apparent that the mobo isn't gettting any juice at all.

Also try disconnecting everything from the mobo but the power supply - including pulling add-on cards. One or more attached devices may be contributing to the problem. If it comes to life start adding things back until it fails - you've just identified the culprit.

Good Luck!
