Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: PS2 DVD not playing movies

If you have cleaned it with no results then the is a problem with the laser that reads the disks. These lasers have two adjustments on the bottom of them, one for CDs (PS1 games) and one for DVD5.gif (PS2 games). It is sometimes possible to adjust the DVD side and get it to work (there are many tutorials on the web on how to do this), but unfortunatly this is a temporary fix. The only real fix is to buy another laser. They are very abundant on the web (ebay1.gif is a great source for them too!). They are very reasonably priced now. Either way the unit will have to be disassembled. Hope this helps you out...

As for the 4 digit code, press "SELECT" when it asks you for your code. Then you enter "7444". It will then ask you to enter your new 4 digit access code. I recommend just making "0000". That way you just have to press "X" a bunch of times to get your movie to work..

How can I fix the echo between my TV speakers and my dvd/blu ray player home theater speakers when watching a movie. Also, in the settings menu on the BDV E370 system do I have to select speakers only...

Easy, disable the TV speakers or turn its volume down.

http://static.highspeedbackbone.net/pdf/Sony%20BDV-E370%20Manaual.pdf

Page 36 tells you how to sync the sound to the picture but you really shouldn't have the TV speakers competing (in stereo) with the Sony. (Page 56).

A) The TV speakers are probably inferior to teh Sony's
B) When you balanced the speakers during setup there was no 'with-the-TV-speakers-on' option. The image up front would suffer by adding an unaccounted for sound source.

Help, my Sony S360 BD play says "invalid" to two

The chances of getting 2 bad rentals in a row are very slim, but not impossible. If your player plays all other DVDs fine, then my money's on the Redbox DVDs being bad, or even fake (people have been known to keep the actual movies, and return fakes to the machine).

It sounds like overheating is making it go into protection mode. It fails, cools off, starts up again. make sure it has proper ventilation and you're not pushing it too hard (loud).

The Lense is dirty just open your dvd and get an eye pad, deep it in methylated spirit and wipe on the lense or just run a lense cleaner and put the dvd it should be able to play.
