This is usually caused by a blown thermal cut-off due to a faulty high-limit thermostat both located on the heater housing at the back of the dryer. These components are wired in series with the heating and once the thermal cut-off blows, power to the heating element is terminated and the dryer will not heat. Disconnect power and remove the rear access panel then locate the thermal cut-off and the high-limit thermostat on the heater housing. Bypass these components and if the dryer heats up, replace both of them. Click on the link below for the detailed instructions in troubleshooting this problem.

On rinse part of cycle...makes weird noise and doesn't drain the water out.It is actually a RAX4232 PQO


If the motor is running you likely have something caught in the pump. The fins in the pump hitting something will make funny sounds. Brand and Model number always helps.
