Ok if you are on xp great if not you can still get there.
control panel
look for a speaker icon open it
where it says audio check to see if your sound card is defalt or not cahanfe it as you need to.
If his fails you may want to put in an external sound card (from ebay about 10 pounds.7 dollars)

Receiver worked last night. I turned it on this morning and it just clicks over and over. Never comes on. I have to unplug it just to make it stop clicking.

Hello,

What is the model number of this receiver? It could be in Protection Mode. Is power button on the unit flashing red? If so, that's protection mode. It could be as simple as a speaker wire got crossed or cut but it could also be something internal.
Step 1: Label all wires plugged into the receiver so you know where to put them back.
Step 2: Unplug everything, including the power cable.
Step 3: Leave it unplugged for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Plug in *just the power cable*
Does it still click? If so, it's an internal component that's bad.
Does the clicking stop? If so, add one wire at a time, waiting 1 minute before plugging in another wire. Keep adding wires till the clicking comes back. Once the clicking comes back, unplug the last wire you plugged in. That wire has a problem. It could be the wire itself or the device connected to the wire. If it's a speaker wire, for example, it could be that the wire got chewed or cut, or it could be that the speaker got fried inside.

Bose Cinemate remote stopped working

Ive had the same problem, basically happens anytime we lose power or if it gets unplugged. Great speakers, poor design. Im not having any luck this time. Gonna try leaving it unplugged longer, like days this time. The remote feels like the problem, any button just causes the TV/VCR/AUX/ect row to blink, can't program it or anything. Seems like this is a common problem

The joys of purchasing items with a bought out warranty. Check the plug and contacts on the fuse.
You could either call a microwave repairer and pay for callout and repair or purchase a new one.

Speakers have no sound coming from them.

There is not fuse for the speakers themselves. The speakers maybe blown out. I would take a speaker out and connect it to the home stereo and see if it works. I would check to see if the speakers are plugged in also.

DCLCD 19" flatscreen won't turn on correctly

Same problem here, but after using the plugging/unplugging method it eventually stopped all together. So, I took it to a local monitor repair shop (AM Stereo, Seattle). The problem is a power supply issue where the capasitors go bad. They fixed the monitor by replacing the capacitors for $70. In there experience, all monitors, regardless of brand, tend to use the same cheap capacitors which fail. He replaced them with better quality capacitors which may make this monitor better than it ever was. I'm back in business with a great monitor!
