Cds will not play. It just clicks in the back.


Try cleaning the lens with a CD cleaning disk. If that doesn't help then I am afraid you may have to start looking for a replacement unit.

I have the same problem with the KDC-x817 and i tried following these steps, but when I am in the menu and scrolling through the options, I don't see anything that says AUX off. Am i missing something??

look up this deck on crutchfield.com type in your unit model and click on the accessories and their is a video clip you can watch... hope this helps

To plug up ipod you have to buy an ipod connector i found one for around 50 bucks at crutchfield.
