Either the manifold valve for that particular burner has either failed or the burner orifice is clogged. The only way to check it, is to turn OFF and disconnect the gas and remove the the cooking grates, the flame tamer and the burner. Looking inside of the grill, where the burner was removed, you will see the burner orifice, which can be removed with appropriately sized open in wrench. Once it has been removed, look at the small hole in one end, carefully. If it appears to be clogged, either blow through the opposite end or use a straight pin the same size as the hole to clear out the obstruction. Whatever you do, don't make the hole larger! If it was clogged, you just solved the problem. If it wasn't clogged, check the venturi valve/tube on the open end of the burner you removed. It may also be clogged.Simply tapping it lightly with a screw driver handle, will often clear out an obstruction. If not, carefully probe the opening, until it's clear.

If none of the above solved the problem, the Manifold Valve will eed to be cleaned or replaced.

To do this, it will require the removal of all the plastic knobs on the the front of the control panel and then the removal of the control panel itself. By doing that, you should have complete access to the manifold and then can unscrew the couplings and remove it. Personally, if I were doing this, I'd replace the manifold valve, rather than trying to dismantle and clean it. Generally, you can purchase a new one from your grill's manufacturer.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem.

My Fisher Paykel gas dryer gets way too hot on the right side. I can only use the lowest setting to dry my clothes. The side with the bearing gets so hot at any other setting, that you can not touch

Hello Anita;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

You did not provide a model number so I am not sure what components you have in your dryer.

So, these are possibilities:

1.) You may have a bad high temperature limit switch.

2.) Your gas regulator spool valve may be worn or stuck open. There is a setting screw on your gas regulator valve. Turn to the right to reduce gas flow and turn to the left to increase gas flow.
1/4 turn at a time.

3.) Your gas flame tube may have slipped forward or moved redirecting either the flame length or directing the flame at the bearing.

Woodboss 028av. I removes the air filter. on the left side there is a tiny plastic tube with a tiny spring inside it. what is this for

I think you are looking at the fuel tank breather pipe. The AV just means; anti vibration. My Stihl parts list shows it as 1117 350 5800 Tank vent.(Plastic Tube) And 1120 358 8105 Vent Insert. Its basically a small plastic tube with a restrictor in it that vents the tank. Only repair it if there is gas leaking. A local shop would help or go online.

I HAVE A LG DLG2532W GAS DRYER. IT WILL NOT DRY. I HAVE TAKEN IT APART AND CAN SEE THE HEATING ELAMENT HEATING UP. CAN U HELP

Safety First, Unplug Dryer. There are two thermostats in the dryer. They are on the exhaust tube that houses the burner element and the ignitor. One is on the top half of the exhaust tube near the dryer wall and the other is on the bottom half of the exhaust tube toward the center of the dryer. The one on the bottom half of the exhaust tube in the one with the reset button.pull off right access port cover, look in and left for thermostat hanging down off of exhaust tube. Press button between the two wires going to thermostat. It is a 3 minute operation if you can get to the right side access port. hope this helped Tim

Hav 2009 yamaha 125 vino small gas line on left side keeps flowingas out wile its runing help.thanks

That tube is an overflow tube. It is leaking fuel because the cabs float valve is not shutting off the flow of fuel. The carb must be removed and inspected for debris as well as cleaned.

Cant get the burners to stay lite.

Spiders like to create little hidey webs in the tubes of propane grills and stoves.

Take it apart as much as you can and blow compressed air through all of the holes and apertures. You can either take it to the gas station and us the $.25 air machine or buy a can of compressed air at your computer store.
