Water not pumping from the tank

If the pump is primed, water will come out of the tank when the pump is running. It make take a little time for the tank to fill, but you should hear the pump making some noise. An un-primed pump just makes a motor noise, not very loud.

Gaggia Titanium. Fault suggests ventilation required. Followed manual instructions, nothing happens. Tried rinsing, nothing happens. Tried hot water nothing happens? Have taken out and cleaned all pbvious...

Do you hear the pump working but no water flows?

You should select hot water (the third button from the right) and the display should say "hot water" at the same time it is saying VENTILATE --- open the steam valve all the way and the pump should start and you should see water from the steam wand.

If you don't hear the pump at all, then that is a different problem.

If you do hear the pump but still don't get any water with the steam valve open, then you need to prime the pump by using a turkey baster or the accordian pump that came with the Titanium to pump water into the valve where water from the tank goes. Remove the tank and use the turkey baster to pump water into that valve while the pump is running and the steam valve is open all the way with HOT WATER selected. the second water starts to come out the steam valve you want to stop the pump (turn the power off or turn the steam knob shut) and put the water tank back on and make sure there is plenty of water in the tank - then start the pump again by opening the steam valve all the way and let it pump water out the steam wand for a few minutes.

Why won't my washer won't spin or drain

If the water is not removed first, the spin will not occur. Do you hear the pump run when it starts the spin cycle? If nothing, the pump may be jammed with debris, or the motor itself may have failed. If the motor runs, but no water comes out of the drain, then look for a kinked drain hose (inside the cabinet) or possibly a stray sock lodged in the drain outlet under the outer tub. Sometimes the pump impeller will come loose from the motor shaft causing loss of pump action. Hope that some of this helps!

No gas to the motor replac pump and filter u can hear punp pumping and yes do have gas in tank

I assume the fuel pump is in the fuel tank like most on the F-150?

If so check for gas before the fuel filter. if before and not after replace.

If nothing there another possibility is the fuel pump is wornout or clogged in the tank. Just becuase you hear it running does not mean it is actually pumping anything.

no their is no fuse. sound to me like your motor is not working, however
the pump should still drain out.push cancel only and unit should drain if it does then id say motor bad. you can try to take apart and check motor blade ive seen toothpics, food , other objects hold motor impeller from turning making it seem like its the motor but actually its just stuck..remove btm wash arm and filter cover thentake two or 3 small screws from a plastic cover covering motor impeller, look to see if anything is in their if so remove. warning if you see a white ball down their leave it alone reinstall and see what happens. hope this helps.

Water will not drain from machine

one of three thing is happening, lid switch is bad,the motor coupler that turns the water pump has broken or the water pump itself is broke or clogged with somthing, you can check the lid switch buy lifting and closing the lid slowly to see if you hear the clicking sound,to remove cabinet remove the 2 head screws one on each side of head, flip up,use a screw driver two remove the 2 spring clips one on each side under head, unplug lid switch, tilt the cabinet toward you and pull it off,you now can check the water pump and motor coupler, let me know what you find-mike

GE Dishwasher not working...

Sounds like you have a one of four possible issues. More info to diagnose would be helpful. (age, which mid cycle) If the motor runs when you turn the timer dial than it is a belt/motor pump issue. If the motor does not run than a bad motor start switch or the water level switch. More than likely the motor/pump assembly as this is usually the problem on these models. If newer check with whirlpool the manufacturer to see if it is covered by warranty.

Dishwasher confused

i suspect this is nothing to do with switching off during the cycle.
take the bottom plate off and check if there is water leaked into the bottom pan. alternatively, if you can, tilt the machine back to 45deg and see if water runs out.
most machines have a float switch in the base so that if water leaks, all that will happen is that the drain pump runs and i think this is what you are hearing

Won't start

It sounds like you have a food blockage or some blockage between where the water fills up and where it goes into the pump you need to take out the water wand (the rotating thing with water coming out) only the bottom one. You need to unscrew the water wand and make sure nothing is blocking in there.

If not then check your filter which should be next to the water wand remove it and then clean it and make sure nothing in in there to block water getting through.

If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask

Will not start

bsolo, sounds like something jammed in your pump stopping the motor. You will have to remove the cabinet to get at the pump. It has 2 clips that hold it to the motor. The best way to tell for sure is to remove the cabinet, jump the lid switch and start the washer. If the motor runs without the pump, then you know for sure it's jammed. I will try to attach a diagram on how to remove the cabinet.6212c10.gif216ffff.jpg
