HELLO YOUR ISSUE IS THAT THE STEREO'S PARKING WIRE IS NOT PROPERLY CONNECTED. YOU NEED TO CHECK THE WIRES ON THE BACK OF THE STEREO AND LOCATE THE PARKING WIRE USUALLY SOLID GREEN WIRE AND CONNECTED TO A GROUND WIRE OR DIRECTLY TO YOUR CHASSIS TO GROUND IT.

What is the deal with the green parking brake wire on the boss 7320?

By U.S.federal law you can't drive and have a movie playing at the same time, that wire when connected will only let you watch the movies while the vehicle is in park. To go around this all you have to do is ground the wire, I always just ground them the the radio itself on the backside around a bolt on the radio heat sink, and there you go you now can drive and watch Movies.

How do i bypass the parking brake restraint on my axerra axv820?

Attach the parking brake wire to a toggle switch and chassis ground. That way you can flip that switch and simulate the parking being applied, released and applied. Then you can watch movies, text, chat, etc., all while you're supposed be to being driving.

Movie wont play

The Stereo is looking for a ground signal on the parking brake wire. It's a safety feature so that you are not watching movies while driving. To bypass this you will need to connect the stereo's parking brake to ground.

Where is the parking brake switch located on a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic? I am trying to hook up the parking brake wire and can't seem to find it.

Why don't you just install a toggle switch? Place one end on the parking brake wire from the Pioneer unit and the other end to ground. This replicates putting the parking brake on and enables you to watch movies.

When I try to play a movie, I only see the warning sign on the screen. I can hear the movie playing, but the warning will not go away. This is even when the vehicle is in park. Any ideas what may be wrong?

Bypass Code
1. Go into Am/Fm mode
2. Hit "setup" on the remote control
3. Enter 543210 on the remote, listening for the beep for each number entered
4. A new menu will appear. Touch the button that has the hammer/screwdriver on it in the upper left-hand part of the screen
5. Select Brake bypass to "ON" and hit the "X" near the bottom of the screen

Is there a way I can watch a DVD movie on my Pioneer AVIC-Z2 screen without having to put on my parking brake?

Yes, there is a way to watch a movie without the parking brake engaged. The parking brake safety mechanism is there for a reason, and I do not suggest that you disable this sytem so that you can watch movies while driving. With that said, the simplest way to bypass the parking brake system is to take the parking brake wire from the head unit, run a wire to a chassis ground point, and then put a toggle switch inline so that you can flip it on and off. This will simulate the engaging/disengaging of a parking brake.

Again, I do not condone or recommend watching movies while driving. There are enough distracted people driving on the roads.

Can I watch movies while moving?

There is a wire that goes to the park brake switch. That will need to be permanently grounded to bypass the security feature, but if it's a factory player, it may be integrated into the car's electrical system and may give you a park brake light on the dash if you do this. Prolly best to remove the wire from the park brake switch, and move it to a switch you create on the dask or something, that way you can turn it onn and off at will.
