Question about Dane-Elec Music One MP3 Player

Open Question

Hi, I'm trying to unfreeze my 2GB MP4 Player but its been like this last night. Yesterday while listening to music and looking at pictures the song suddenly stopped and the screen completley froze on that one picture. Now my 2GB MP4 Player won't turn off and when plugged in the computer it stays the same and won't charge, plus it won't leave the page to listen to music only on that one picture. What should I do?

FORMAT your player in Windows to see if that helps resolve the problem. Either a problem with the memory or a possible memory hack. Take a look here:

SOURCE: When I go to listen to my mp4, it says

I started to have the same problem today and was also getting a "Library Error Encountered...." message. I was able to resolve it by Formatting my player. I lost all my data and settings but now I can put music on it again. To format your player go to the Home menu-Settings-Common Settings-Format

Please find details to connect your MP3/MP4 player to your computer:

In order tp download songs to the mp3 player firstly, you should make sure that which kind of format does your mp3 player supports, like:format MP3, WMA, WAV, ASF, ACT.If you are not so sure about it's format, please refer to the manual of your mp3 player.
Secondly, download the right format songs from internet( many sites have the capability to wownload free music) and save them. If not sure go to Google, and look for free songs.
    Once done:
1.Get the songs you want onto a computer
    2. Plug your Player into the computer it should have come with a cable when you bought it
    3. (On Windows) Go to My computer from the start menu
4.Select your Player from the list of drives that you should see C: D: ect... (if you dont see yours specfically click on all of them untill you find one that looks like it should be
    5. Once youve found it, copy or cut your songs or videos onto your player For an MP4 player your songs must be MP3 and videos in MP4 format
    6. unplug your device and turn it on, that should have worked
Download all the music to your local PC, connect your mp4 player to your PC with USB cable 'make sure that all necessary drivers are installed', If it's connected > synchronise it with windows media player then drag and drop the music in the device panel.

    Mp3/mp4 player

Hi, Go to my computer, right click removable disk, format it using file 32 method, then wait for the process to complete. It will report back that format is completed. You will then have to transfer your music again, and it should be ok. If it continues, maybe your songs are protected. If this is the case, try to deselect protection on the windows media.
