Go to Start, Control Panel and click on Printers & Faxes.
Go up to the top and click on File, then click Add Printer. This will bring up
the Add Printer Wizard. Click Next. On the next screen make sure ‘Local printer…’
is selected and also ‘Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer’
Click Next. If windows does not find and install the printer automatically at this point, click Next. The LPT1 port or other printer point will be selected so then click Next. If there is no port there, Click add port and proceed from there.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
