I looked for the maker of your watch but was unable to find thier web site or who made it.

If you don't get any other more direct help, you could go to a supplier of straps, who might be able to supply a bigger one. The supplier below has a large range of straps and may be able to help.

Go to http://www.watch-band-center.com/shop2/index.php/user/watchstrap and
search their site.

They may have your watch under "special brands".

Otherwise you can search under sizes or types.

I have a citizen elegance water resistant watch with serial number 891188. I need 2 links added onto it for it to fit me.

My watch is an Elegance that is thirty years old with sentimental value. I don't know how old your watch is or how much you want to put into it. I would contact Citizen to see if they could fix you up with something if you haven't done so already. They should have these watches cataloged. You may have to send it back to them.

I just recieved my new watch, I do not understand how this watch closes or clasps, so I cannot adjust to size. it is 109179wtcl. In the manual I think it is a metal insert but the picture does not help me....

I have had a couple of watches that have clasps like that. Essentially it folds into itself, if you look at the metal part that does not fit the rest of the band you will notice some rectangular openings and two little projections.
Now, to close it you have to pull each side of the bands in, the metal bar should also fold a little as well, then each side should clasp.
I hope this image helps. chengeaj.jpg
I hope this helps, also to get back open you should just be able to pull it open, it will should have no ill-effect on the watch. I really hope this helps.

I have a fossil Cronagraph watch and I need to know how to take out a link or two off the metal band.

I would take the item to your local watch repair shop, they have the proper tools to do a quick fast job while you wait and make sure it is a proper fit.

How do I reduce the size of a metal watch band to fit my wrist better

mcdevito75 here, You"d need a special tool called a link pin remover, BEST BET, look for a small watch repair shop in your area, hold onto the extra links once removed as you may need them again.

How to adjust a metal watch band Fossil Casual Metal Dial AM3861 Watch for Women

mcdevito75 here, Best bet since you would need a couple of tools to adjust the band size is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area to save on the cost, the cost of a shop to adjust the band is about the same as the tools needed, since these adjustments are in frequent let the watch repiar shop do the job.

My watch band is to short to fit over my hand!

Go the Fossil website - http://www.fossil.com. There is a link at the bottom of the page, Customer Care. Click on that link. On the left there will be a menu item under Product Info that says "ordering links and bands". There is a paragraph titled "Order Links". There is an 800 number to call and they will send you two links just for shipping or if you need more than 2 links, it's $3 per link.

New battery needed and fitted to a Polar heart rate monitor

This is really easy to do yourself. Get a CR1632 battery, unscrew the four screws on the back (dont tip the watch as there is a small spring in the watch), unclip the metal band holding in the old battery noting the way 'round the battery is in (minus side up), pop in new battery and push clip back down, when re-fitting the back make sure the spring mentioned earlier lines up with the white sticker with a hole in it on the inside of the watch back, screw down the back. After you have re done all your settings you may need to re-aquaint the watch with the strap, to do this put on the watch and strap, set the heart monitoring going, bring the watch up close to the 'Polar' logo on the chest strap until the time is displayed, should now be all set up.
