ORANGE WIFI LIGHT IS ON

The orange WiFi light on the printer indicates that the printer is not connected to any network or trying to get connected to a wireless network when it's blinking.
Execute the Lexmark Wireless Setup Utility and make sure to enter the correct encryption keys if your wireless network is secured.
Make sure to allow full access to all Lexmark software and printer communication processes in the program rules/permissions for your firewall.
Place your printer where it receives excellent wireless signal quality and away from other electronic devices which can cause wireless interferences (e.g. cordless phones, microwave ovens, baby monitors, garage door openers, and other wireless electronics).

Printer not connecting to computer - orange wifi light stays on

You may need to reset the printer's wireless network settings. On the printer operator panel, press Settings button > Network Setup > Wireless Setup > Reset Network Adapter to Factory Defaults.
Relaunch the Lexmark Wireless Setup Utility. If you have a firewall enabled, make sure to allow full access to all Lexmark software and printer communication processes in the program rules/permissions for your firewall.

You have lost your connectivity between modem and router.

Be sure you always start your network in this sequence:

1. Turn off and unplug the modem from the power outlet. Next, turn off the wireless router
and computer.

2. Turn on the modem and wait 2 minutes.

3. Turn on the wireless router and wait 1 minute.

4. Turn on the computer.

If this does not work, come back to your post let me know and we will try a full reset.

Belikin N series router, the ''wired'' icon is flashing orange?

It turns out that im not as stupid as i first thought????
I plugged the ethernet lead back into the router and my laptop and the orange "wired" flashing light that has been bugging me has now gone out.
I thought that maybe it was flashing for me to update the firmware but it must have just been a hiccup??
All is well now though. If it happens to anybody else then please try the basics that i tried first.
