Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

We have a 2000 Olds Alero with a "check Vehicle Soon" light on and it is intermittent. When this light goes on (when starting up the car) the windows don't work and the fan doesn't work. Then eventually - after about a 1/4 mile - they work again, but the light stays on. Can you tell me what is happening?

I went to the site and no one had a problem like mine when filtering the selections to "Service Vehicle Soon" light. So much for this service. I didn't find it helpful.

I have a 2000 Olds Alero that will not start, i have changed the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, wire set, alternator, belt, battery, fuel filter, o2 sensor, crankshaft sensor but my vehicle still will not...

I see you have changed many parts on vehicle, the only other thing that comes to mind is the timing belt. but that depends if its a four or 6 cylinder. some fours have the timing belt as to the chain. and also make sure you are getting spark from coils. but check the belt first. and make sure fuel pump is ok !! have a good day !!

I have a 2000 olds alero, how do i reset the change moil light

If you mean the change oil soon light............ Open the fuse panel; on the side of the dash by drivers door. turn on key but not far enough to start car.
Press the red reset button in the fuse panel until the oil light flashes , release the button and then press it again.
It has been a while since I have done this on an alero , so if you have your owners manual , it might be a good idea to read the instructions in there incase i have it wrong. By the way , the low tire pressure light works the same way.

Cant find the low pressure port to charge a/c on 2000 olds alero

It should be near the compressor on the low side line. It is a huge pain to get to. Feel along the line, and you should come to the fitting.

Service vehicle soon light is on, scanner at gm dealer read no codes. what all sensors activate this light. aso trac light is on. traction button(in stupid place) doesn't work

ok there is a difference between the check engine light and service vehicle soon light. The service vehicle soon light comes on when a bulb is out on the daytime running lights. Check your bulbs if there is one out and you put a new one in it will most likely take car of problem.
