Question about Admiral AW22 Top Load Washer

Open Question

I have an Admiral MOD ATW4475VQ0. The problem is when the washer should go into the Spin Cycle. The washer goes through all the other settings, but when it gets to the Spin Cycle it clicks then continues to go through the rest of the cycle without spinning. If I set the dial manually about 1/8" before the spin setting it works fine. What can cause this and how do I repair this issue?

the timer motor is either bad or there is no power going to the timer motor.that is why the timer is not running.

SOURCE: Admiral top loader no spin cycle

you can take an ohmmeter and remove one lead from the switch set your meter to continuity and see if it reads open then depress the switch and see if its closed or take both wires off the switch and put a jumper wire in the connectors to bypass the switch and see if it spins and yes its normal to keep agitating with the lid open the switch just works on spin

Admiral washer machine tub appears loose and unattached in rrear

First of all is your machine working or not?
If it is working and it's a front loading machine. The machine drum is hanging inside the machine using strong springs that helps it to reduce vibrations during washing and spin cycle.
When machine goes into spin(dry cycle), it usually shakes a little.

Ge super capacity plus washer. Mod wlse3150a0ww. no matter what setting it always starts on rinse then goes to spin.It also will not drain.

If the washer is stopped mid cycle it will default to rinse and spin. It will then get stuck in a loop. It is necessary to reset the electronics. Unplug the electrical cord from the unit. Wait 30 seconds. Turn the cycle selector all the way around clockwise. Turn it again and set it on any setting accept rinse or spin. Plug the unit in. It should begin a new cycle and be working normally.
