The volume control is dirty inside, many years ago I used to spray a little wd40 or similar into the control whilst rotating the knob to clear out the debris. the other options are to replace the control or buy new speakers. if you don't, worst case is the control will burn up if you do nothing.

wd-40 could work but i would not recommend it for use on anything electrical. you can purchase fast drying aerosol electrical cleaner from almost any hardware/autoparts store or walmart. this works best for me when cleaning the potentiometers ( volume knobs) on guitars to remove the same symptoms

1) Turn your speakers off.
2) While blowing a can of compressed air into the switch, twist the knob up and down a bunch of times.
3) Repeat step 2 for roughly 10 minutes, blowing the dust out of the volume controller.

Try it again..

Good luck!!

Adjust Tone on Touch Controls

If there isn't an option to adjust the volume preinstalled than you're probably out of luck. Other than that your best option would be to physically cut the wire to the speaker making the tone, o get a friend with some sodering experience to bend the circuit and add an adjuster to the circuit.

Can't find how to adjust message tone volume

Message tone and volume works together,so if you have your ring tone volume at the loudest level, the alert tone for messages will be at the loudest as well. If you want to adjust the volume follow these steps:
go to settings --> personal --> profiles --> choose any profile that you want to be activated on your phone --> options --> personalized --> ringing volume --> choose from volume 1 to 5 as the loudest --> press ok then click back once --> options --> activate

From there you are good to go.

How do i adjust the tone and volume of the board. its a Super L II Plus. Somehow I turned it off with the picture at the top. After turning it back on the only tone I can get is a sharp loud tone. I...

If this is really a SL II Plus there is no adjustment to volume.

The picture on the menu isn't a volume control. It turns on/off the alarm (beep).

The tones are sent by the controller at one volume, different tones indicate what the operator is doing at the tome.

Turning on digitizer = 4 beep tones
Selecting ponts = 1 beep tone
