Question about KitchenAid KSB560 5 Speed Blender
Please make sure the collar is on a firm flat surface (not on the blender). Check the silicon gasket is evenly placed in its groove in the middle of the collar. Lower the glass jar onto the collar lining up the gaps on the collar with the glass keys on the side of the jar. Holding the collar in one hand, twist the glass jar clockwise to lock into place. If this doesn't work it sounds like something is jamming the mechanism underneath.

Testimonial: "I am just not strong enough to turn it with my hands. It works well when it is in place though and I tend to wash it together most often."
