From what you have said, it sounds like the nozzle is clogged . If you will send me the Model Number of your heater, I'll sent you a copy of the Owners Manual/Troubleshoot Guide, if you have misplaced yours.

I have reddy pro 170 i plug it in , the fan & igniter comes on for 10 to 15 seconds then shuts off ,blew through fuel line and nozzle still same result, i do see fuel mist coming out nozzle ,i dont k

You must make sure the mist is not to close to the igniter . If it is it wont be misty enough to ignite. And make sure its in the path of the mist. If its new return it to the store.

My heater is a reddy heater 165,000btu. when i plug it up it will ignite, it will get a flame for about ten seconds and it shutdown. i recently replaced the ignitor because it broke and replace the fuel...

I would definitely stop burning off road diesel as it is dirty.Remove the top section of the heater and clean the fire eye with windex and a terry cloth rag, and run K1 kerosene it burns so much cleaner. Also make sure that fuel is not an issuecheck fuel filter, fuel lines and don't forget the screen in behind the nozzle.

After sitting all summer now goes in to a flame out condidtion after a few moments of operation

Make sure the filters in the back are clean and make sure the fuel line
from the tank to the nozzle are tight. You might also check to make
sure nozzle is clean. Make sure fan is operational. If it has spark ignition make sure that is cleaned up as well
