Question about Sparkle Power 400-Watt Power Supply

1 Answer

NO Signal Greetings, My computer has died. When I try to re-boot; my moniter indicates that there is "no signal". This computer is a home-made system w/dual drives- a monster. All fans run except the one on the power source: a Sparkle Power Model# FSP400-60GN. Any ideas... Thanks Rick

After all connection still moniter showing no signal

You either have a problem with the monitor (probably not, since it is displaying a message) or the computer itself. I suspect that your computer is not sending a signal to the monitor. Most of the time this is either a problem with the computer not booting correctly or a video card problem. This is what you should be checking.
Try booting the computer with everything disconnected but the memory and CPU and video adapter. If you still have no signal, try swapping out or removing one stick of memory. If there is still a problem, then it's either the video card or the motherboard (assuming that the power supply is not bad).

No input signal, go to power save sony sdm-hs93

I f you see the message on the screen indicating 'NO INPUR SIGNAL', you need to check the VGA cable and both ends of the connectors also. Try this monitor with other PC also.

This SDM-HS73/93 have common problem: bad backlight assemblies due to poor workmanship in sodlering works, see my pictures below. You should also inspect the caps. This is not recommend for DIY.

My emachine computer was working then just stopped, when I tried to turn it back on. the moniter is showing no signal received. I have tried checking the VGA connection, changing it out for another, no...

Try your monitor on another machine - if it is working you have operating system/hard drive/motherboard/memory/heating problems. You must work that out if the monitor is good.

My acer switchs on but the moniter has stopped working it clicks back to standby and says no input signal

That is because no signal is sent from your computer to the monitor, I suspect your computer is not booting up. Does you computer sound a beep on boot-up? or no sound at all? Have you system unit checked on the nearest support center, or you can troubleshoot it if you want, just send here the details of your troubleshooting and we will be happy to guide you with that.
