Can't log in to iTunes account. Company cancelled my email address and I changed computers.


Change the Default Email on an iTunes Account
If you want to purchase and download items from the iTunes Store, iTunes requires that you create an account.
It uses the email given during registration as your default Apple ID for logging into iTunes services and for sending receipts for purchases.
If your primary email address changes, you can edit your account information to use a new default email address.

Launch iTunes, and then select "Sign In" from the "Store" toolbar menu.
Type your current account credentials and click "Sign In."
Select "View My Account" from the "Store" menu, type your account credentials again and then click "View Account."
Click the "Edit" button beside your Apple ID on the "Account Information" page.

Type the new email you want to use beside "Email," and then click "Done" to change the default email address associated with your iTunes account.

Access an iTunes Account From Another Computer
Your iTunes account allows you to purchase music, videos, and other types of media directly from the iTunes Store, and can be accessed from a number of devices, including your iPhone.
In order to access your iTunes account from another computer, you must enter your account information into the Sign In page of the iTunes program.
Once signed in, you can authorize the computer to play media purchased from the iTunes Store and set up other iTunes-exclusive features, including Home Sharing.

Click "Start" on your Windows PC's taskbar, then click "Programs," "Apple," and "iTunes" to run the program.
For Macintosh computers, open the Applications folder in "Finder" and double-click the "iTunes" icon.
Click the "iTunes Store" tab, then click the "Sign In" button on the right side of the program window.

Type in your registered Apple I.D. email address and password, and click the "Sign In" button.

Click the tabs on the right side of the window to access different areas of the account.
Click the "Done" tab to save and exit out of your account settings.

Tips to Find Unauthorized Activity on Your Email Account


Do you suspect that your email account is under attack? Do you want to maintain total security of your email account and make it 100% hack proof? Well, Some times our email account might have got hacked and we may not be aware of that. We may believe that our email account is safe, but in reality our private and confidential information may be falling into the hands of a third person.
Here are some signs of unauthorized activity on an email account.
1. Your new emails are marked as Read even if you’ve not read them.
2. Your emails are moved to Trash or even permanently deleted without your notice.
3. Your emails are being forwarded to a third party email address (check your settings->forwarding).
4. Your secondary email address is changed.
If you come across any of the above activities on your email account, then it is a clear indication that your email account is hacked.
Additional Security Features in Gmailto ensure the Safety of your Account
Gmail provides an additional security feature to protect your email account through the means of IP address logging. That is, Gmail records your IP addressevery time you login to your Gmail account. So, if a third party getsaccess to your account then even his/her IP is also recorded. You can see from the above figure that Gmail shows the IP address of last login (last account activity). You can click on Details to see the IP address of your last 5 activities. If you find that the IP listed in the logs doesn’t belong to you, then you can suspect unauthorized activity.
Steps to be carried out to stop unauthorized activity on your email account
If you feel/suspect that your account is hacked then you must immediately take the actions mentioned below
1. Change your Password
2. Change your security question.
2. Remove any third party email address (if any) to which your account is set to forward emails.
3. Make sure that you can access the email account of your secondary email address.
4. Also change you secondary email password and security question.
This ensures that your account is safe from future attacks.

How to delete an email address


Which email account? and adress yours or someone on you email list.
Email addresses: we have one for work, we have one for friends.
We have one for shopping, and sometimes we have one for the dubious Internet deals into which we get sucked.
Sometimes we get spammed so heavily we have to abandon one and get another.
Sometimes our main address isn't professional enough, so we create a new one.
Sometimes we just want to sign up with another service.
Next thing you know, you have more addresses than you can keep track of. It's time to start deleting the ones we don't need.

Access your Internet email provider in which you have the email account you wish to delete.
Type your username, password and then click on the "Sign In" button.
Locate your options button.
With Yahoo and Gmail accounts, it is usually located on the upper right hand side of the page. Click on the dropdown menu and find the "Mail Options" button and click on it.


Click on "Accounts," which should appear on your left top side; this depends on your email provider.
Make sure you do not confuse the "Account" button with the account information option.

Click on "Delete Account" and this should take care of getting rid of your email account.
Remove a Hotmail Email Address
A popular free email service offered by Microsoft is Hotmail. Setting up a Hotmail account is simple; so is closing one.
If your account has been hacked or your email box is inundated with spam, closing the account is an easy remedy.

Select "Table of Contents" from the sidebar on the left.
Click on "Setup a Windows Live Hotmail Account."
Scroll down to "Close Your Account."
It will be located at the bottom of the list.

Remove an Email Address From Outlook
Microsoft Outlook is a task manager application that is a part of the Microsoft Office software package.
The application allows users to send and receive emails, create tasks, take meeting notes and store calendar events.
Users can add multiple email accounts by creating different Outlook profiles.
The process is simple to remove an email address at any time and it can also be performed the same way for both the 2003 and 2007 versions of Outlook.

Minimize Microsoft Outlook if you have it open.
Click on the "Start" button on your computer and then click on the "Control Panel" option.
Click on the "User Accounts" option and then click on the "Mail" option.
The "Mail Setup" dialog box will then appear.


Click on the "Show Profiles" button.
The "Profiles" window will then appear and show all of the different email address you have set up with Outlook.

Click on the email address you want to remove.
Hold down the "CTRL" key on your keyboard and select multiple email address if you want to remove more than one.

Click on the "Remove" button.
Close out of the dialog box and the email address will be deleted from your Outlook account.

Gmail access


You can combine multiple Gmail accounts into a single, primary Gmail account by using the POP3 Mail Fetcher application built into Gmail.
The Mail Fetcher enables you to retrieve email from POP3 email accounts, including Gmail, and send mail as if from a different email address all from within your primary Gmail account. Configure your primary account to manage your other Gmail accounts with the Mail Fetcher.

Sign in to the Gmail account that you want to use to manage your Gmail accounts.
Click the "Settings" icon, represented by a gear cog, in the top left and click "Mail Settings."

Click the "Accounts and Import" tab.
Click the "Add POP3 Email Account" button.
Enter the email address of your secondary email account and then click "Next Step."
Enter the password of your secondary email account and then click "Add Account."
Click the radio button beside "Yes, I want to be able to send email as
[SECONDARY EMAIL ADDRESS]" and then click "Next Step."

Enter the display name for your secondary email address and then click "Next Step."
Click "Send Verification" and then check your secondary email account.
Click the link contained in the verification email to confirm the integration of that account with your primary Gmail account.
All mail sent to your secondary Gmail is now delivered to your primary account, and when responding your secondary Gmail address is displayed in the From section of the email.

It is not uncommon for users to forget their user names and passwords, especially when trying to access an email account not often used.
Email providers like Yahoo! and Google are aware that users forget and have implemented a way to identify the user in this situation. In order to use this retrieval method, you must have submitted an alternate email address when you signed up for that email.

Go to the email sign-in page.
Notice the option underneath the login fields for users that have trouble signing in; in Yahoo! Mail this option is "I forgot my Yahoo! ID" and in Google Gmail this option is "Can't Access Your Account."
Click this option.
Enter the alternate email address entered when you set up up your email address.
Yahoo! Mail users also need to enter the birth date, country and postal code entered when the email address was set up. Click "Next."


Log in to your alternative email address and click the email provided.
Your email user name is available in the body of the email.
Click the link within that email to reset your email password.
To reset your email password, the provider might require that you answer your security question.

Go back to the email sign-in page and log in using your user name and new password.

I have open facebook acount but when i open acount then ask code no. and tell me go your yahoo acount to complete process , what is the reason?


Hi,

Facebook requires a valid email address and it seems like you have registered your facebook account through your yahoo email address. All you have to do is go to your yahoo account and look for an email from FACEBOOK and valdiate that email address. Hope this helps

I changed my e-mail address and now it won't let me in to facebook. I have tried to re-confirm but it won't accept my password which I did not change. I tried copying/pasting, etc. nothing worked. Please...


Facebook has settings it uses (that YOU set it up with) to confirm any changes to your account.

Any time you change something on Facebook, it will confirm that YOU are the proper owner of the account by sending a CONFIRM email to (the email address you set it up with.) You would need to CONFIRM this email (your old email address?) before any changes take place.

If you changed your email you should have registered this change in your Facebook account settings FIRST.

Try logging in to Facebook with your old account settings (email/password), then go straight to changing your default email contact address (this is not effective until it receives a REPLY from this NEW email account, so it can verify that the NEW account is actually valid.)
THEN Facebook will have finalized your change.

How to fix email address typed in wrong spelling


i'm going to ASSUME that you've set up Outlook Express (or Outlook) and typo'd your email address while setting it up. To fix this error, open your email program, choose Tools, then from that drop-down menu choose Accounts. You'll see several accounts usually, only one of which is yours (the rest were created as default access accounts to help you find information). Click ONCE on YOUR account to select it (usually turns that line blue) then move your mouse pointer to the right and click on Properties. This will OPEN your account and allow you to look at all of your entries. Find the misspelled email address, correct it and click on OK at the bottom to keep your changes. Best wishes, Jim

(Outlook Express) Email is not configured to relay mail to address
Try this settings:

Outlook Express
  1. Click Tools then Accounts
  2. Click Mail
  3. Click Properties
  4. Click Servers
  5. In the Account Name field, it should be the first part of your email address (probably it's like this already).
  6. Put a checkmark by My Server Requires Authentication at the bottom of the page.
  7. Click Settings
  8. Select Log on Using
    • Type Account Name (which will be your full email address)
    • Type Password (which will be your email address password)
  9. Click Apply
  10. Click OK
  11. Click Close
This should fix the Outlook Express to send email, close Outlook Express and re-open it to start sending mail.

Microsoft Outlook
  1. Click Tools then Email Accounts (Accounts and Services on older versions of Outlook)
  2. Click View and Change and Click Next (skip if it opens up to the account screen)
  3. Click Change or Properties of your Email Account
  4. Click More Settings
  5. Click Outgoing Server
  6. Check My Server Uses Authentication
  7. Select Log on Using
    • Type Account Name (which will be your full email address)
    • Type Password (which will be your email address password)
  8. Click OK
  9. Click Next
  10. Click Finish

This should fix the Outlook to send email. Close Outlook and re-open it to start sending mail.

I use Outlook Express for Emailing, i would like to change my present email address please can you help me to do this? Regards Clive.


Outlook Express is just a software which can send and recieve emails from any email account configured on it(Outlook Express). regardless of yahoo, gmail, comcast.net ,aol.com etc.

So if you want to change your email address and want to use it on outlook express, you need to first create an email account by going to the website on which you want to create an email address.

Once you have created the email address we can look for the POP/SMTP server settings of that particular email account on the internet .
Once we have those(POP/SMTP) addresses we can configure Outlook Express to send and recieve emails for your new email account.
