No numlock key on MX5500 logitech

The ten-key keypad is used for the calculator too. The button to swith between these modes is just aboc=ve the key and has a picture of a calculator. To use directional arrow keys, this keyboard comes with it's own separate arrow keys located under the delete button. They felt no need for directional function, number input function, and calculator function.

Travelmate 2410 keys not working

You don't need any drivers. Laptops and desktops use an internal win device driver. You can actually find the file called keyboard.sys

What you need in your case in a new keyboard. For your Travelmate they sell for about $50. It takes maybe 10 minutes to change it out. This is something you can do at home. Look on you tube for something like laptop keyboard replace and you can see the process and decide if it is something worth trying. If you google or bing or whatever for travelmate 2410 keyboard or laptop parts you can find several dozen sources. If you look they will have instructions or videos for your travelmate.

I can't switch on\off the the wifi and bluetooth on my laptop. I've fujitsu v6535 with windows 7. Did you know any solutions?

Look for a blue "Fn" key on the keyboard. Now look for a picture on your keys, F1-F11, that looks like a laptop with radio waves going both directions, or a cell tower with radio wavs going both directions. If you find these two keys, you can hold down the "Fn" key and then press the other Function key. You PC should warn you that the "Radio" for your WiFi has been turned off. Repeat the process to turn it back on.

I want to replace my keyboard on Acer extensa 7620g ! need help :)

Here is what you will want to look out for, this introduction to keyboard replacement should put you in the right direction.

Firstly check at the top of the keyboard, usually above the R, T, I and O keys, there are little clips that need to be pushed towards the keys of the keyboard. Then find the screws that secure the keyboard to the chassis of the naotebook. They are usually found on the rear/underneath of the computer.

You may need to remove the rear access covers from the notebook to get to the screws that hold on the keyboard. Some models have a special pictures labeling each screw. Look for one that looks like a keyboard and remove it.

Now once all the clips and the screws are removed you will be able to slowly and carefully remove the keyboard. Then remove the data cable that connects the keyboard to the mainboard of the computer.

Installing the new keyboard is simply the reverse of the above.

Take care!

To get a replacement keyboard for your laptop (if you're talking about replacing the builtin keyboard) will have to be directly purchased from the manufacturer.

If you're looking for a new external keyboard, any USB Keyboard will work.

Directions or diagram of shift key--how to replace

There are a couple of tiny components under the each key. These are plastic hinges and a rubber hat contact in the middle of the key.
If you still have these components and they are still secured to the keyboard, all you need to do is place the key over center of the hinges and press down evenly until the hinges click and lock into place under the key.

If you can't find these parts, then the only option is to replace the keyboard. There are several laptop keyboard suppliers on the Internet, just Google to find one.

Function Key Issue

Your keyboard may have a function key lock (could be up in the right corner) that locks the keys in the Fn mode. Look for that. I have seen this on several keyboards. On some keyboards I've been able to get around this by hitting the print screen, scroll lock, or pause key to unlock it.

Half of keyboard does not work

did you by chance have a drop of liquid drop ontot he keyboard...such localized keyboard failure usually indicated moisture has gotten tot he dielectric material...I would suggest to place your computer screen up, keyboard in direct sunlight for about an hour ....place a towel over the screen as not to damage it...and let the sun's radiant energy promote the moisture fromthe keyboard ,,,also do not turn machine on again until removed from sunlight, and allowed to cool for about 90 minutes...
