Question about Xerox Office Equipment & Supplies
On the front of the drum cartridge there is a green cover, Behind that cover is a set of gears , one with a flag like actuator on it.
Most likely the flag dropped in shipping and did not reset the drum replacement switch.
You can either try popping that cover off and resetting that foag to the up and right position or take the cartridge back for replacement.

That worked. I had to take the green cover off, the gear with the flag was jammed. I released the jam and positioned the gear ad described. The light went off.
Thank you very much. Xerox wouldn't even try to find a solution.
