Slacken off each bolt-360 degrees
4th stage-29NM
5th stage-74-83NM

tighten main large cyl head bolts like this. stage 1. 29nm
stage 2 .59nm stage 3.slacken off. stage 4. 29nm. then stage 5 50 t0 55 degrees start in the centre of the head and work outwarward diagonaly then tighten the small bolts @the front of the head 6.8 to 8nm

stage 1 120 nm
stage 2 slacken off
stage 3 20nm +80 Degrees
stage 4 adjust further for splitpin alignment

As usual Gillian it isn't a straightforward figure so I will type the recommended procedure.

Working outwards in a diagonal fashion.
stage 1 = 26 Nm
stage 2 = 53 Nm
stage 3 = 84 Nm
stage 4 = slacken all bolts.
stage 5 = 26 Nm
stage 6 = 53 Nm
stage 7 = 105 Nm

Personally I would go to great lengths to ensure all the threads are clean and oiled or greased and I would leave it overnight before slackening the bolts and re-torquing.

I hope your torquing arm is in good condition.

How about going to a Oceanic dealer? Eh? They should be able sell you the parts and install them. Remember, life support equipment should be serviced annually, and said replacements would be part of that service.

cyl head torqes.1st stage 29 nm. 2 nd stage 57-67 nm. 3rd stage slacken off 360 cegrees, 4th stage 29 nm. 5th stage 64-74 nm. intake and exhaust valve clearance .38 mm hot setting. hope it goes ok.

go to the oceanic web sit there they have listings of local dive centers that repair or send it to oceanic for certified repairs.you need to be certified in repairs to do repairs
