Depending on what you have available, either a damp paper towel or alcohol wipe, or compressed air will work to clean the sensor eye located top at the center of the paper feed opening, you should see a little dot wipe, or spray these out well, then turn the machine off and back on again.
built up dust from the paper causes the sensor to keep registering that there is paper coming in hence it won't stop on its own.
