Which fan? CPU, Power Supply, Graphics card or case fan (if you don't know, just say where it is in the tower).

Thnx,it is the CPU fan. Apparently it is the only one inside. This is an all in one desktop with everything in the monitor as far as the components go. It doesn't look like there is a way to open it up and replace the fan but I'm sure there has to be though.

Ok, to open the pc, using a small screwdriver, remove the 14 square plastic/rubber bungs from the back of the case. this will expose the screws holding it together. Lay the pc screen - down on a soft, flat surface like a towel on a table. Undo all the screws and lift the back panel away this should give you access to the inner workings. Make sure you earth the pc by plugging - in the power cable but not switching it on. you should be able to get at the fan without too much trouble. if it is a moulded fan designed to fit only that pc, get the model number, if it is just a standard square framed fan, just measure it. You should be able to get a replacement fan from ebay for not a lot of money.
Give the case a good clean before re-assembling it (compressed air works best).
Good luck.
