Question about Grindmaster PrecisionBrew Single Cup Pod Brewer

When the pod drawer is locked in place, the brew light flashes and the machine will not brew

I understand that the green light is supposed to flash, but it won't go to a steady green at all when the pod drawer is locked in place (I let it flash for 45 minutes today before I released the pod drawer). I have turned the machine off numerous times, unplugged it several times, emptied the water reservoir and let it refill and still the green light starts flashing when you lock the pod drawer adn won't stop. I checked the temperature of the water using the priming instructions and it certainly seems to be heating up. After being turned off or unplugged, it flashes green for a short while and then goes to a steady green - another indication that the water is heating properly. The machine worked just fine from November until about 2 weeks ago.

Hello sue3756,

I understand that you are having a problem with your GrindMaster PrecisionBrew Pod coffee machine. You say that when you try to brew a cup of coffee that the brew light flashes there is a couple of different flashes and colors that you need to look for here they are.

These are all flashing around the Brew Button:

1. Slow red flash: This indicates that the water is below the temperature to brew and trying to heat up, when it reaches temperature it should turn green.

2. Fast red flash: This indicates that the water is too hot and may have a bad thermostat. You will need to unplug the unit and allow it to cool for 15 to 20 min then retry.

3. Blue Flash: Water unit is low ad needs to be refilled.

4. Purple Flash: This requires you to re prime the unit.

If it the unit is not doing any of the above then your unit must go back to GindMaster to be serviced/repaired. You can not purchase the required parts to repair yourself. The unit carries a one year warranty Bev

Hi sue3756,

The flashing green means that the water heater is heating water tank. During this time Brewer will not brew. Wait until the light goes on a steady green. Steady green means that the water tank is at operating temperature and ready to brew. For additional information about the machine, please click the link below.

Hope it helps.

The brew group is stuck and will not come out

I hope one of this two solutions solve your problem.

1- The brew group is out of place. Turn the machine on. Close the service door.
The brew group is automatically placed in the correct position.

2-Coffee grounds drawer is inserted. Remove the dregdrawer first, then the brew
group.

How do we insert the coffee pods

Open the brew mechanism. Opening the brew
mechanism will initiate the heating of the water and the
HEATING light will flash.
2 Place a clean cup on the cup stand, adjusting the height of the
stand up or down so that the rim of the cup is close to the
brew mechanism.
• To adjust the cup stand, insert your finger in the center
of the stand, lift and turn.
• To avoid spilling over, please choose the right sized cup for
the drink you are making.
3 Position your choice of T-DISC on the T-DISC holder, label facing
down. Firmly close the brew mechanism by pressing the clamp
down until it shuts. The HEATING light may flash again as the
machine heats the water to the required temperature for
your drink.
4 When the AUTO light illuminates, press and release the start/stop
button. Brewing will start automatically. There may be a short pause
during brewing; this is normal and is designed to draw out the full flavor
of your drink. The AUTO light flashes throughout the brew cycle. When
the machine has finished brewing, the indicator light will move from
AUTO to MANUAL and then, after a delay of 30 seconds, to HEATING.
5 Open the brew mechanism, remove the T-DISC and discard.
Your drink is now ready to be enjoyed.
You can prepare the next beverage right away by repeating
steps 2 - 5.

Tassimo Coffee Maker: Tell me how to operate it. I can fill the water, put the pod in and all the lights keep flashing. Pressing the start/stop button does nothing.

• All lights will blink the first time you turn on your
machine. This is your cue to prepare your machine for use by
following the quick instructions in Step 1 on separate insert.
• If the water level runs low while you are preparing a
beverage, all lights will flash. Simply remove and refill the
water container, and brewing will continue automatically
where it left off. It should not be necessary to discard the T-DISC
and start over.
• The AUTO light will blink throughout the brewing process.
Some drinks require a pause in brewing as part of the recipe
for brewing your perfect cup - this is to allow the optimal flavors
to unfold and is a normal part of the brewing process. The AUTO
light will continue to blink throughout this process.

HOW TO MAKE A DRINK
• Place the mug of your choice on the cup stand.
• When the STANDBY light illuminates, insert the T-DISC® of your choice
and close the clamp.
• The HEATING light will blink as the brewer heats the water to the
optimal temperature for your drink.
• Once the proper temperature is reached, the AUTO light will
illuminate. When it lights up, press the start/stop button to begin
the brew cycle.
• The AUTO light will continue to flash throughout the brewing cycle.
PLEASE NOTE: Some beverages have a pause in brewing
after the initial influx of water into the T-DISC®.
• The MANUAL light will illuminate when your drink is ready.

Nothing works. When turned on, we get flashing red lights. The problem doesn't seem to be water or coffee bean level related.

I have the Keurig Gourmet Deluxe Home Brewing System #B60 When the pod is in place with the cover down the water won't come out while brewing. It will not make a brewed cup of coffee. If I remove the pod...

Check that pod has a punctured hole on BOTH ends.. If the bottom or to wear not punctured this will happen with most Keurigs.
Replace the pod holder if defective.

Open the door on the right. Push on the upper left side of the brew unit until you hear a click. Close the door and see if the message is gone. If it is make sure that the grounds drawer is in place.
