Your post doesn't say what you are trying to send to email. If you are using Windows 7, right click on what you're trying to send, then select 'send to' from the drop-down, followed by 'mail recipient'

Cannot receive and open picture or data from friends via email

What can't you do? receive or read? if you can't receive then you won't be able to open a picture. To open a picture sent by email you need a program to open the type of picture that is being sent.

How do I email photos from my dell computer?

A simple process to e-mail photos from any computer using windows is fairly simple. Find the folder with the pictures in them. Then select the pictures you would like to send by pressing the "ctrl" key while left clicking(left mouse button) on each picture you would like to send. Once you have selected the pictures then right click on one of the highlighted pictures and select "send to" and then "e-mail recipient" and then right click. This will bring up a page to send the e-mail using your default e-mail program with the pictures attached. You can then add any remarks, comments ect. and choose who you would like to send the pictures to.

Do you have a firewall program? If you do try shutting it down and see if you can send email. If you can, there should be setting in your firewall somewhere telling you how to allow that java send email.

After I have downloaded an image from my Logutech camera, I would like to send this as ane-mail attachement. how do I do this please.

Most people store their pictures in the My picture folder which is located in My Documents. You must also consider the size of the file before you send it. A large picture can take along time to download and the person you are sending it to may not happy about that. For example pictures taken from a 7 mega pixel digital camera can be huge and must be resized. Sometimes your email program will ask you if you would like to make your picture smaller to send.
How to place a picture with your email
In the email
  1. Open a New Message box
  2. Choose insert from the top menu, then choose Picture.

  1. The box below appears. Press on Browse to find the picture you want to insert.
  2. Add some Alternate Text. This shows up when the user places their mouse over the picture. Then Press OK.

The screen shot below shows that I have inserted a picture into my email. If someone sent you an email with a picture in it and you want to save it to your computer, right click your mouse on the picture. A menu will appear. Then choose save picture as....

As an attachment
  1. Open a New Message box
  2. Choose insert from the top menu, then choose File Attachment.
  3. Now you can find the picture you want, click on it and the filename box will be filled in for you. Then Press Attach. See Screenshot below.
  4. Now all you have to do it write your message and send.

Iwant to store my pictures and send them through email.I have a email address through comcast, but they cant help me.I dont know much about the computer.I dont know how to set up a account or what it costs

One way to do it on line is through a on line service such as webshots.com. On that service you can upload the pictures into an album and e-mail them to whomever you need to.

What program do you use for sending e-mail?

E-mail pictures

Hi seilerdps - Are you just asking how to email pictures? If so, just type what you want to say in your email. Look for a tab or bu button that says attach file. Click on the tab and a box should open up that gives you the option to browse. Click on browse and go to where you have the picture you want to send. Then click on the picture and click on ok. It should be attached to your email. If you want to send a few you can either do that a few times and it will keep adding them to your email or you can create one file with several pictures in it and then just add that one file to your email. To create one file with several pictures in it, right click on the picture name and then click on "add to mypictures.zip" The name of the file will depend on where you have the pictures. I just used that as an example. If you have like 5 or 6 in a row that are together you can highlight them all and then right click and do the same thing. Then just add the file to your email. If this solved your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If you meant something else, DO NOT RATE YET. Let me know what else you need. If anything was confusing or you need more help just add a comment and I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks.

I have no idea how to put together 5 pages of writted paperwork together with an email cover sheet & send them all as one. Could you help please?

Hiya Juvin... what E-mail programme are you using?

Normally, produce your work.. once you are happy.. click on File... send as.. choose option E-mail... it will then open the E-mail cover sheet and your work will be saved in the e-mail... alternatively..
Open your E-mail programme create New Mail... click on tools .. then insert.. could be a picture.. file etc.. browse to your folder location & the name you have given to your work or picture.. click insert... will attatch to the E-mail.. you can then write your E-mail in the window.. then send.
