Since the network provider is change you need to reconfigure it back by running the setup disc for it to detect and setup with the new configuration settings for it.But if you're not aware about those settings you can contact your provider to get the needed settings for it.

Bypass proxy

Well all depends on whether the network server will allow you to bypass the proxy. Usually the proxy settings are in the network services portion of the browser. If it is a company system this will be impossible to reconfigure if they have done their jobs correctly since the settings will be greyed out for standard users. If this is your home computer check properties or options in the browser un networking and see if a proxy is listed and if it can be changed. If it can be change remove it otherwise your are stuck. Another way is to install another browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome.

I need to use my telstra thomson TG782T modem on a different network how do i reconfigure it??

You need to contact your 3rd party service provider for the configuration settings for their network.
If you cannot change the settings on the Thomson modem then maybe the firmware is set to Telstra's network and cannot be changed. In this case you need to use the recommended modem suggested by your 3rd party service provider.

Failed association wireless connection

Did you reconfigure your router after you changed providers? Did you go from a phone company provider to a cable company provider or vice versa? If so they use different protocols and the router will need to be reconfigured. Phone companies such as AT&T use what is called PPOE and you have to put your Internet or Network userid and password into the router, you also will have to Bridge the router in most cases. Cable Companies use DHCP and there is no userid or password that has to go into the router.

Forget my router password

if you forgot your wireless password or your router password then you can login to your router from your browser by going to 192.168.0.1 the default router login is admin/password or 1234.
go to wireless and then you can change your security password.
if you are unable to login to the router from a browser then you will need to reset your router to factory settings by holding the reset button in with a paper clip for 30 seconds while powered on. then login and reconfigure your settings. you will need to reconfigure all your wireless devices to join your wireless network after this is done.

Cant make remote change dish resever

Hey Richard Moulton,

I know how it can be when your remote doesn't work. I would be happy to provide you with some information to help with this.

As it sounds like the remote needs to be addressed to the receiver I have provided the steps below to get that done. If you have any other questions or need further assistance you can let me know here and I would be happy to assist!

Addressing Remote to Receiver:

1.) Go to System Info screen.
2.) Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
3.) Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.
4.) Press the pound (#) button.
5.) Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record.
6.) Test remote and see if works.

If your printer was connected wireless to your system prior to changing internet provider, you may need to reset your printer's wireless network adapter first and then reconfigure it to reconnect to your new wireless network.

Done steps no good

mobilegoats,

If you have tried to readdress the remote to your receiver or program the remote to your TV and neither worked, have you replaced your batteries. You have not stated the problem you are having. Would you clarify your issue and then we can provide alternate troubleshooting steps. I hope this helps.

if the internet provider, gave you a Wireless hub/router to use, it is possible that you need to reconfigure the wireless settings of the printer so that it can see the new wireless hub.

after this is done the printer should work fine,
