I need an owners manual for a shark rocket professional upright modle nv482.. It didn't come with one... Bummed out.

Go to this website--http://www.vacuumsavvy.net/SharkVacuums/Shark-PDF-Manual-Download.html. Look up the NV480 manual. It is the same vacuum as the 482 except the 482 has the under appliance wand. You can print or save. http://www.vacuumsavvy.net/SharkVacuums/Shark-PDF-Manual-Download.html

I removed the bottom medal plate, covering the brush, and there were 3 additional pieces that fell out - 2 clear and 1 darker gray (aprox 2" H and 1.5" W). I can not figure out where this last piece goes...

I've never seen a Dyson with a "medal". For that matter, I've never seen a Dyson with any metal parts either, except the screws.
You should take it to a qualified vacuum repair shop to make sure the parts aren't necessary before running it again, just in case.

Looks like you have a problem on the center tube. Check:
1. It has the spring to press tube to the bottom of the device.
2. It is clean with no obstructions.
3. Water comes up frequently and each time more darker to the little cup on top.

I have a TA Adler-Royal 1123 PD nova printing calculator. (It is very old.) The numbers printed on the tape are very faint. Do I need a new ribbon or something else? Is there such a thing as an ink...

Hi,
You need a new ribbon.
Older or much older desk top calculators used a small sized ribbon such as the old typewriters used except that the reels were about 1 inch across. Often they were divided into a red and black side.
It the calculator had all of the numbers strike the paper at the same instant, then it would use an
ribbon.
Here is a link to an Amazon.com page that sells the correct ribbon for your calculator.

I put brand new T8 light bulbs in a fixture but the lights are still flickering is it the ballast.

Are they actually flickering on and off?- or just sort of Twirling patterns of lighter and darker shade of light? -- That is normal when the bulbs are new-- That should become steady in a few days.

If not-- tell us more what is happening-- in detail.

The 10 amp thermal fuse on my Panasonic MC-E468 vacuum cleaner has blown. Unfortunately the red ink has worn off exactly where the temperature rating is printed so even with a magnifying glass cannot make...

It appears the fuse is not available separately. Standard retail price for the complete unit is £9.00 including VAT. We can supply at that price plus postage and packing at cost, which would probably be no more than £2.50.  If this is of interest to you, please reply with an email address where I can contact you direct.

My ink cartridge ran out of ink and I am unable to buy a new one right now so what should I do

I am assuming this problem is a printer not a vacuum. There really isnt anything you can do until then. You can use generic refill from walgreens but it is less quality than genuine ink. The refills also may leak or break but they are WAY cheaper

Round filter clogs often

The Flange in question is about one inch tall and and approx 4 inches circular ..... When you pull the canister (container to empty) off and empty the contents in the trash .... some of us tap it to get the excess out or off the sides ..... That Flange is the rubber piece attached to the bottom of the darker gray cylinder inside the canister you are emptying. When you tap the canister or after dumping it numerous times that flange can work itself (slide) up the darker gray cylinder ...... it needs to be slid downward and overlap the bottom when you close the canister from dumping it. You can remove the flange and see the grooves .... replace it back on with it hanging off a little to allow for overlap. That should decrease the amount of excess being trapped in the filter. Hope this helps.
