No sound when i play a dvd in my player

You will have to see if the DVD is rotating, then trying to rread and stops off with an errror message or a no disc display. If so try to clean the optical head within the set inside of the tray and try again. If not Your optical head will be defective and needs a replacement which will need some expert help. Get the same type and after discconnection of the solder bridge for static damage set this in and connect, test to confirm. However if your cd is reading and there is no sound but vidoe is fine, then the main sub audio processor board must be defective. Use a sigal tracer to check for audio. Another thing is to check with a different DVD, see if the sound format is right., Since you have not mentioned in detail including the make/model, I think this would help. Good day

While trying to put photos on cd-r it said that cd-r was not formatted. How do I format, so that I can put photos on?

Depends which operating system you use. The following is for XP so you might have to find the options for any other system. Try going to MY Computer and click the drive with the blank disc in. Then click file and see if format appears.

I lost my mercury mother board cd its version is 8.33k.so i want installation cd.so u mail me.my email id is suburockz1@gmail.com

Why not just go to their website & download the most updated driver? That way you can save it as a CD rom, a USB stick, or even right on your computer as a file. Good luck.

How do i transfer from tascam DA-30MK11 to computer

From my personal experience, and assuming that you want to do this purely in digital format in order to preserve quality, you need to connect an RCA cable from the digital (SP/DIF) output of the DAT machine to an SP/DIF input of a sound card installed into your computer. Please note that the sound card on your computer must have digital input capability. Also the Digital input (sometimes labeled ‘CD digital’) must be selected in your software as part of the recording controls. To do this, open Volume Control, click ‘Options’, select ‘Properties’ and then select ‘Recording’ (as ‘Playback’ is usually enabled as default), and select the ‘digital’ input. Then using a reasonably good a sound editor or other recording software, start recording keeping in mind that you should configure the software to accept whatever audio data format is used on the DAT tape (i.e. 16 bits, 44.1KHz, or 48 KHz etc) I’m my case the software usually displays a box with these parameters before starting to record. Hope This helps. Good luck!

Formatting discs

Once the disc is FINALIZED, theres no way for the data to come off. If oyure burning from a computer, make sure you burn as DATA or AUDIO disk.......if the radio is MP3 compliant, then mp3 discs should work. The upside to mp3 discs is you can fit endless hours off music, but you loss sound quality from the compression.

CDs dont need to be "formatted" like hard drives or floppy discs. It's format is knows as red book, orange book......depending on the quality and manufacterer of the media.

If you have cheaper cds, like SONY, they can be problematic. Try TAIYO YUDEN or Microboards if you can get your hands on them.

Keep me posted.
