Check your backlight inverter and CCFL bulbs. As the CCFL bulbs age this is a common problem. The bulbs are not cheap, however. They run nearly $15-$20 each for your size flatscreen. Replacing the bulbs is as easy as changing a light bulb, you just have to get to them as they are in the flat panel.

Have a Samsung 55" LED UN55FH6030F, dims to about 50% no matter the picture mode (dynamic, Standard etc) If I change input, screen goes really bright, then darkens to 50%, no lines or dark areas.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

From the middle down to the bottom of my phone dosen't work. Have to keep flipping sideways to do anything

Let's start with the basics, and no cost fix, as sometimes the culprit is a tiny amount of gunk/debris at the very edge of the screen that gets embedded between the screen and the small groove around the screen.
Take like a toothpick or very thin pointed-edged piece of plastic and scrape out any gunk/debris around the entire edge of the screen. A lot of times greasy gunk gets in there and prevents the screen (digitizer) from working in certain affected areas.

Try that and post back with the results to see if that helped.

Printer leaves black horizontal lines on right hand edge of paper

If you haven't already ran the head cleaner function try it first. If that doesn't fix it then you should try cleaning your print head. You can try windex and about 140+ water to try and cut all the ink clogged in the head. This cleaning method I have found out isn't always the solution and usually only lasts for a short period of time. While you in the printer look for any loose paper or foreign matter that could be causing the line. It has been my experience to just go ahead and spring for a new print head and get back to business. They're a little high but well worth it in the long run. I'm not familiar with the exact printer model you have but as printers in general go if it has a drum instead of cartridges you may have to go into it and clean it out. Check the screens and for clogging and also inspect the drum for any foreign matter caught in or around it that is making the line. A printer works in reverse order, when it shines light through the paper it is set to darken the entire sheet but light that is reflected back my mirrors prevents it from darkening the places that light is reflected back and therefore it only darkens the places where there is no light. If one of the reflecting mirrors has a spot on it and not sending light back it will cause a dark line, or if anything is in it's path that blocks the light it will do the same thing. Check this closely, to be sure the mirrors and screens are in no way obstructing the path of the returning light. The only other solution, which is highly unlikely is one of the LED that produce the light is burnt out but this seldom if ever happens. Most are wired where if one goes out they all go out, although I have ran across two that had one LED burned out. shgill

BLACK EDGES

Unfortunately you do not put what make and model this is, but for most copiers there are two things that cause this usually. when the optics start to get dirty the edges appear to darken first. remove the glass and clean the mirrors under the glass and both sides of the glass, the other is when the photoconductor (drum) starts to age it to will darken the edges also. Try using the photo mode if this copier has one. that may get you more life and better quality. If it is the drum you should have a tech do this, there may be settings that are needed when replacement is done... hope that helps
