How do I get google back as my home page

That is because you may have connected to yahoo.com and lost the home page default. In internet explorer whilst you are in Google home page you select Internet options from the tools menu and in General tab where is has space for default page you click "use current' and ok. That should save google as home page. Exit explorer and select again to make it work.

Internet Explorer 8 is part of Windows 7 and can be re-activated using the steps indicated in that page. Try them to see if them can help you solve your problem

Microsoft had just released Internet Explorer 9, with some new features, like a minimalist look browser interface, download manager, add-on manager and allowing the use of video card GPUs to accelerate the image, video and audio processing when loading the web pages to make the loading process much faster. If you want to try it, you can download it from

I NEED MY YAHOO PAGE BACK TO NORMAL HOW CAN I DO THAT

If the basics do not work first, the retry button and switch to Yahoo classic

I would go out to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-3.6&os=win&lang=en-US and download FireFox. This is what I am using right now and yahoo works fine with it.

The other alternative is to download and install the Internet Explorer 9 Beta version. at http://www.beautyoftheweb.com/ This will work as well.

Periodically, Microsoft or yahoo will send out an update that will not work correctly for one reason or another. Mistakes happen, but rest assured, it will be fixed sometime soon.

No i am trying to get my regular home page restored

It doesn't sound like a router issue. If your router is connected to the internet and you can access the internet and if you are running internet explorer. Go to tools (left uppr corner), click on it and go to internet options down at the bottom of the drop down box. This will open up another box and you will see where you can type in your home page, then lick on apply and ok and reboot your Internet Explorer. If Internet Explorer is not working,

Hint number one. Dumb IE9. Chrome is fast and it will work. 1. Press Control Alt Delete same time. 2. Choose task manager settings 3. Click on applications, if it says not responding end it. 4. If 3 doesnt work click on processes and end explorer 9.

Yahoo messenger automatically shut down

Please upgrade first the version of your Windows Internet Explorer. The connection of Yahoo Messenger rely on Internet Explorer.

If you are using different web browser like Mozilla Firefox, It doesn't matter. Just install Internet Explorer 8 compatible with your operating system and do not default it as your browser.

Do this and you will find it easy to access your yahoo Messenger in just a second.

Here is the link for downloading Internet Explorer version 8. Select the operating system you are currently use.http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/worldwide-sites.aspx

After installing the IE8 and Yahoo Messenger 10, restart your computer.

Please comeback after establishing your Yahoo Messenger connection and give me some rating.

Thank You for using Fixya.
