I would scan default barcode again. If you are using PS2 connectors. Scan barcode for PS2 keyboard. And USB for USB connectors. Most likely it is not seeing the device. Or treating as a keyboard as it should.

Yeah, from the manual, scan the following settings:
It's best to copy the necessary barcodes from the manual at 200% zoom, into a Word document and print it out.

This is defendant on the program you use to print labels with. The printer responds to either a print job sent to the driver (like a standard windows printer). Or you can send an EPL program to the printer in order to use internal barcode generating features of the printer. The dimensions of the barcode are controlled via the EPL script. It can read all standard symbologies apart from PDF symbologies unless it is equipped with an imager scan engine.

Have you scanned the configuration barcodes on the manual? For example if you are using keyboard wedge cable, you will need to scan the keyboard wedge barcode from the manual. Page 20.
