Question about Microsoft LifeChat™ LX-3000 Headset
Possible that the wires to the connecting jack has snapped within and so the connection has cut off. You can confirm this by checking with a multimeter the continuity of the earpiece to the jack and if this shows a open connection , it is confirmed. replace or cut connection and solder to a new earphone jack.
