Question about Carrier Beverage-Air MM14 Commercial Refrigerator

1 Answer

My Beverage Air mm14ge wont cool. IT sounds like it's running, then after about 25 seconds it will click once, then once again a second or 2 later, and keep repeating that cycle. The fan is working. Is it just the start relay?

Could be the start relay. could also be the compressor itself. need to either check continuity of compressor or use a compressor analyzer to see if shorted or open.

Adding freon to a commercial beverage air mm14ge cooler

If it needs gas it has a leak. These coolers generally don't come with gauge access ports and need to be silver brazed into place. These systems have a critical charge and will not operate right unless the exact ounces of refrigerant are in the system. The temperature controls measure coil temperature instead of cabinet temperature. The wrong charge makes them run and run and they cant control temperature. Hope this helped.

I have a beverage air MM14GE cooler that hasnt been on for over a year when i plug it in it turns on but doesnt cool, what can be the problem?

Verify that the compressor is actually running. You should feel it vibrating. If the compressor runs with no cooling most likely the refrigerant level is low.

Duo therm rv air conditioner repair

Sounds like thermostat is failing. There is a factory set resistor that helps the thermostat keep a 2 degree accuracy. Second possibility is that you have a fan or direct airflow from the cooling system, being devirted, that is allowing the cool air hit the thermostat on the wall.

2000 dodge intrepid wont stay running

Have fuel pressure tested in both situations. I've seen fuel pumps quit once they get heated up, then when they cool, pump again. Perhaps try WD40 sprayed in to throttle body inlet when no start, and that will tell you if it's a fuel delivery problem. Just remove air cleaner intake hose at front of throttle body, and open throttle and spray for a second or 2 then try to start. If it fires up and runs for a second or 2, then it's a lack of fuel issue.

Furnace runs OK, but blower runs again a few seconds later

Could be a defective thermostat in the plenum.
When a gas furnace shuts down the fan(blower) will run until the plenum cools to the safe range. Usually 1 and 1/2 minutes.
Intermittent operation is a defective thermostat or relay.
