Question about ASUS A2H (A2HOB) Barebone
I have ASUS A2400H Model, i would like to upgrade RAM to 1GB but i can't find where is the clot located? Can you please help me? By the way, my notebook now already has 256 MB of the memory, can i upgrade another 1GB RAM to the expansion slot? Or i just can upgrade another 512 MB Ram only? If i want to take out the Original 256MB RAM but where is it located?
The manual is incorrect. Memory is under keyboard. There is a small hole to the left of the right speaker. insert a paperclip vertically into the hole and apply a slight amount of pressure at the same time sliding the plastic section to the left. It should be obvious at this stage. then fold back keyboard. 2 memory slots are located under the plate near the middle of the unit. Specs say max of 2 x 512MB modules. they are PC2100 DDR266 200 pin SODIMM. If there is someone else reading this maybe they can tell me what the slot is for under the smaller plate to the right of the memory compartment.
