Question about Cameras

1 Answer

My daughter has a Nikon Coolpix LII (6.0 megapixels, ISO 800, 2.4"screen). Seems we are replacing the AA batteries in it every few DAYS! Should I have it serviced or is this usual w/ an inexpensive camera?

I don't know about the lens error, but as far as the batteries are concerned, be sure you are using the Lithium type batteries. The last MUCH longer.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I bought the Nikon Coolpix about two years ago. Suddenly all the pictures taken are overexposed. What do I do?

Two things to check...ISO (should be auto ISO or a setting between 100-400) and Exposure Compensation (should be set to "0")

You can change the ISO in the setup menu...I suggest auto ISO. You can also go to "reset" in the setup menu to try to get back to factory default settings.

Press left on the multiselector (marked with a one-handed clock). Once the self-timer has been selected, you start it by pressing the shutter release button.

Not much you can do. But if that's all that is wrong it, that shouldn't keep you from using it unless the screen has also gone dead.
