WARNING: this process will erase all songs off the GoGear.
Disconnect the GoGear from computer.
Turn the GoGear off.
Hold in the volume + button.
Reconnect the GoGear while holding in the volume + button.
Continue holding the volume + button.
After 5-50 seconds, Windows will pop-up a "Found New Hardware Wizard." - complete the wizard (BTW, you can take your hand ff the volume + button now).

it simply means that you haven't added any mp3 or video files... if ya want the drivers go to the link below....
after installing this file, go to your philips media converter and add the videos you wanna convert, and convert it... after that jus copy the converted video files to the "videos" folder in your player....
if you have added any files and still your player doesn't detect it, then make sure you've copied it to the right folder... also check if those files are compatible with your player... sa3125/97 supports mp3, wma, n smv media files... n jpeg images...

My gogear is just froze after unplugging it. I left on charge also....but no action...When I try to switch off it doesn't get to switch off or do anything....just froze....I also want to know how to delete songs...Please help me. Thanks.

You are in a real pickle. The player is trying to update itself, but if the player is not fully charged, then it will not have enough juice to complete the update - but it won't charge, b/c it is trying to update. I would try a USB wall charger, so that you can fully charge the player. Then allow it to update (note: your computer must be connected to the internet for it to update properly). The player may already be ruined, but this method may give you a shot.
If not, return it to the store or call Philips and see if you are still in-warranty.
