I entered my card number twise because each time I started the live chat it would shut down and say the chat had ended, before it even statrted.
This is making me nervous. You company owes me a chat and I dont know how this is going to happen now. I only want one, not two. I was with the "Guru" guy. Before I could even answer him it closed down. So I entered my infor again. Hello it looks like you a problem with your main board, maybe a horizanal deflection. you can get the problem by run troubleshoot codes, first hold the buttons mune and input or device until starts blinking account the blinks, it will blink few times and the it will pause for a second again will blink. get blinking number like, 2 the 2, or 2 then3. that means 22 or 23. 22 means convergance problems. feel free to call me if you need more help with your tv. 602-810-7149 i live in mesa az
Hello well this kind of problem all the time is because you have a fan problem and you could have dirt inside of your tv and sounds also like a ballast problem i have this issue also and I got connected on the live chat that a web say has that they call discount-merchant they sell parts and lamps for TV they could help you they help me twice.
I still have that problem. I calle Mfr and also spoke to repair shops recommended by them and they said they estimate a cost of 300-400$ or so approx. I am waiting to buy a new LCD which could be few 100 more but at least dont have to live with the old one and keep spending money...

I used" Silerado 1st" solution. I have an Akai pt5598hdix/sms.
I had ghosting.Like 3 colors side by side.
Silerado said with TV off press "mute,1,8,2" then TV on.
I didn't see anything like a menu.He warned to write down any setting you saw before you change anything.But for me nothing came up. So as he said the next step try with TV "on" press "Mute,1,8,3" this is another set of adjustments for finer detail. I lined/overlapped all the lines up or down or side to side useing the channel and the volume buttons and then held the enter button down until the TV flashed 3 times.Then I shut it off and when I turned it back on It was perfect.

There are several things to check, you really need live chat. First check E907 is if open, Also Relay S901 then check solder connection around C417 if all fails then replace IC401. If this do not do it then live chat is what you need.
