1. You need to back up your files / documents on to an external drive.
2. Make sure you have a windows set up cd, the drivers (your laptop should have come with a drivers cd when you purchased it, if not, you can download the drivers on your laptop manufacturer's website, make sure you select the correct laptop model and operating system before you download drivers), and installers for applications that you have installed on your pc (ms office, etc.)
3. Just put the windows cd in and reboot your pc, it should automatically boot up to the windows set up. Just follow the installation prompts. Your pc may reboot several times during the installtion.
4. Once its done installing windows and it's already booted up to your desktop, Install the drivers and your other applications.
