Asus doesn't have any information on this motherboard, but here is a forum post about the pin configuration: http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/641352.aspx

M2N61-AR will not power on

Test your PSU power supply unit or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/f/powersupplytest.htm

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle of restarting or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive power and data cables IDE SATA

the leads from your MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your dvd\cd floppy drives have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

computers need power and data to travel through every working device to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

even something as small as a faulty electrical or fan lead can cause you problems

motherboard and a Hard Drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail.

Check all electrical power input and extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working

also check the Cmos battery and computer RAM modules make sure they are securely seated with no dust built up or in the sockets on some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in.

Hope this helps.

How to install mother board M2N61-AR (Acacia)

Take the laptop apart, remove the old board and insert the new board. You might need to pull the CPU, Memory, etc. from the old board. Also be sure to have some Thermal Paste to put on the CPU and Heat Sink.

What motherboard can i use to replace a asus m2nc5-ar

See the manufacturer's web-site:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01321559&product=3548660&

for a description of this HP motherboard, and the complete specifications.

You probably will _NOT_ fix any motherboard, other than a genuine HP M2NC5-AR motherboard, that will fit inside the HP case.

Dell Asus M2N61-AX MB front panel connector Nix ATX Gaming case

I assume you mean the HDD,reset,on switch etc where they plug onto the mobo.

Most mobos are labelled on the board but you will need good eyesight to read. They are labelled HDD, RESET, SPEAKER etc.

If not simply look up mobo manual from vendors site. You will need the DELL serial / part number from the old unit though.

Are asus motherboards compatible with HP desktop cases? and specifically HP Pav p6320f desktops? Thanks, Garth

if your replacing mobo's (motherboards) and if it fits, yes, HP is just the brand name, they use several different mobo's, if the mobo you want to switch out fits in the HP case then go for it

The max ram for that board is 4GB, if you are using Windows XP 32bit it will only recognize around 3.5 GB. It will take DDR2 667Mhz.

Upgradevidio card in a s3120n Hp slimeline to 9600 GT low profile, do i need anew pwer supple(160 w Presently).and what kind is recomendited (must be Quite)

You are not the only one having this problem with the HP slimline systems. The facts are HP doesn't make a 300watt power supply for your slimline. To make things worse HP uses a special small 24-pin main power connector. Power supply, Slimline dimensions are:
3.25" Wide X 1 5/8" Tall X 6" Deep. The highest PS I could find that will fit in your case is 270watts. Also made by HP;
http://www.atxpowersupplies.com/270-watt-HP-slimline-power-supply-FSP270-60LE-SL.php
This should work for you. The only other option would be to replace your slimline case with a standard ATA size case. Than your options for power supplies is endless.

Cheers!

Need SPDIF pinouts identified.

When looking at the board, bottom towards you assuming that the 3 pins are parallel to the pci/e slots, the left pin should be the +5V vcc the middle pin is the spdif out and the right pin is the ground. Also the 3 pins are probably not exactly the same distance from each other (equally spaced) the 2 pins that are closest together are the spdif and the ground, spdif is always the middle pin. This info is based on 2 different asus motherboard install guides. I hope this helps you.
