That could once be said about Maytag until they started being built in China.

Peace ,
ngfam1 at your service,
1-Try to unplug the washer and then replug after 5 minutes and see if it reboots!

Since I can not have hands on inspection of your dead unit I can not tell which of 5 problems it may be!

There is a good nation wide factory service company !

Try A&E Factory service which is nation wide and answers the phone 24/7
They are pretty good

If it is 10 years old or more it may not be advisable to put good money into bad!
the newer washers are so much more efficient that they pay for them selves in just a few years!

Bless you

Maytag la710 is dead. How do I test that there is power going in?

If the mains power is ok and you have tried with other power sockets then most likely the timer switch is faulty. It is an expensive part and might be better to buy a new washing machine which is more efficient. Check this site to help find the cause of the problem. The video might be a good place to start.

Kitara, the main control board you are looking for is part# 22002989 and lists in the states for around $200.00. The maintenance/service manual can probably be found on EBay. Search terms= "Maytag MAH5500 Manual" Please post back with you resolution.

Timer for Maytag 8000 btu digital window air conditioner If i put my ac on a timer (it doesent have a built in one) it wont turn on unless i press the on button. Is there anything I can do to get it to...

Not much you can do with it being a digital control ,power needs to stay on all the time. There are ways around it but it is a chore re wiring to make it work.

Maytag MDG9316AWW Wont start

HI again. this seems to be a wiring harness issue. there may be a lose wire connection or some corrosion on the couplers that are connected to the timer and push button starter. I recommend checking all wires and clips for lose and corroded ends. make sure the clips aren't touching any other individual wire clips. The second issue may be the timer itself. it may have some damage with in the circuitry.

This reoccurring issue leads me to believe that there is something abnormal within the current flow. this. This abnormality is continuing to blow the starter switch. there are only three areas you can check to find this issue. the timer itself should be check for proper voltage and the wires and harness should be inspected as well. The last check would be the terminal block. Check the terminal block for lose power cord wire connectors.

If you have anymore question, please feel free to ask:)
