Continuous blinks of standby light indicates a fault in the IIC data bus. The main board is likely to be faulty. If you wish to know more Check this link.

Hi,
Problem seems in standby power supply board and most likely leaky capacitor(s) or cold/ dry solder connections in that circuit board. It is hardware problem and does not look like speaker wires or connection cables fault.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Make sure the speaker select switch is on "A or B or AB. It's a small button on the front panel of the receiver (pen sized) and will give you visual feedback on the LCD display. If they are on, you need to have the unit bench tested at an audio shop and possibly repaired. Hope this helps

Switching from comcast to verizon fios my rx-v663

This usually means your receiver is not passing the HDCP copyright protection correctly. Try using component cables instead, if your receiver supports it.

The Reciever Plays Crappy out the left side

I'd try this first before I sent the unit in:
Unplug it and wait about fifteen minutes. Remove the cover and blow the circuit board and all of the vent slots clear, Sometimes the presence of enough dust will cause what you are seeing, or in this case, hearing. Be careful if you are using an air compressor. The canned air from an office supply ar wal mart will work, but don't scrimp on the cleaning, just be careful. Blow out the nooks and crannies, the individual places where dust can collect. I saved $500 on a TV by doing this, and it is worth a try.

Microsoft wireless mouse

try reconnecting, to do this, first identify the connect button on the receiver and the mouse itself
The receiver button is the actual little light itself, push that first it should start blinking, then press the little one on the mouse.

I tried that and it didnt work for me, which is why im here

JVC RX-884VBK RECEIVER

The JVC RX-884VBK is a great machine, I had it for over 5 years and had no problem at all. I came across the (NO SOUND at all) and I believe it is an easy fix. Check the Front left, there are 2 keys marked 1 and 2 for SPEAKERS output, sometimes you don't notice that you connected the speakers to 1 and the 2 key is pressed. You could have both keys pressed and you will get the sound. I hope that helps.
