Question about HP Mini 1000 Netbook
A) the mouse is broken
B) the usb reviver is broken
C) the usb port is broken
tho figure out which problem it is get another usb device plug it in to that port if it works then you know its the mouse send it in with the usb after calling the company to see what to do about it if not then its the computer make sure you check 2 or 3 devices first if it still doesn't work return it or call the manufacturer to see what to do.

First thing you will need to do is download the Synaptics Touchpad Driver from their website. I have included the link to the download page below
If this is a netbook, most likely you are running 32-bit of Windows 7 and so you will need to click on "Windows Vista 32-bit Edition v10.1.8" while on Synaptics' website.
Once you download it, simply double click on it to run it and then you will have to restart your computer.
No configuration is necessary. Once you have restarted, you will once again have your touchpad scrolling back.
