Hi, i am not sure if my last message got through, but i have a brand new touchsmart wireless desktop, i have had it for four days, last night everything was fine but tonight for some reason the touch screen is not working. everything else is ok, but now we have to use a mouse when you touch the screen nothing happens, it is as if the touch screen has been disabled. can you help me and if so thankyou in advance. sincerely tina

Please note if you just purchased it, it will be within the 1 year manufacturer warranty, so don't do anything to void that and remember you can probably still return it and get a working one as well, depending on the policy of the vendor who sold it to you.
Check in device manager to make sure the drivers are still present and working correctly. To open device manager: Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System > Device manager (should be on the left side). Right click and select the refresh devices option. Look to see if any devices come up with an error or warning symbol over them. If any do right click on them and select properties and it should display what the error was.
Also look for the mouse settings under hardware in the control panel to make sure it wasn't mis-configured there.
You can also try looking to see if there was a restore point created before this issue occurred. Microsoft has an instructional video for this if you are unsure of the procedure:
If none of these help, please comment with your specific model and version of Windows (most likely 7), any errors you're getting, any changes made to the system before this occurred and any other relevant information you can think of, and I'll try to find other possible solutions.

My keyboard does not work

What is the exact issue you are facing with the keyboard.
If it is not getting detected please make sure if it is connected properly. If it is a wireless keyboard make sure the batteries are inserted properly and working.

Search Computer for Device Manager. Wireless card right click and enable. Otherwise make sure in your sharing center your adapters that only your wireless is enabled

Have you selected a slow disc burning speed in Roxio? If so increase it to 8x or 16x or whatever speed your media is certified for.

If you are using slow media then it does not matter what speed you set as you will inevitably encounter burn problems.

My wireless keyboard seems to be selective about which letters to acknowledge whenI type any faster than a two year old despite new batteries It is the one that came with the hp iq 775 touch screen desktop...

Wireless keyboards do have some delay, especially when the batteries are low, are you sure the batteries have a charge? Sometimes even new batteries are dead or very weak.

Some wireless keyboards only have a range of a few feet, but, moving it closer kinda defeats the purpose of having one in the first place.

Have you tried to go to (classic view): start>settings>control panel>keyboards... to make adjustments?

I am trying to get a wireless connection on my acer aspire. i have spent 6 hours over the last 3 days on calls to my broadband service provider and they seem to think that my wlan is disconnected and have...

check all conections. make sure software is istalled properly. try the wireless conection wizard in internet options.
does ur wireless dongle pick up other wlans
