Hello. Here's my problem. Every time my daughter begins to select a game on the top screen, some games just hang when they've been selected. It started with just one game. But when the days passed, it had been adding up -- to date, we have a total of three games hanging during selection process. How do we solve this issue?

First you should try to blow on the game and the slot for the game blow hard or use compressed air if that doesn't work download the latest firmware for the ds lite and if that does not work your slot reader is probably broken and you should call Nintendo for warranty or to fix it. if you don't want to pay at Nintendoyou can search craigslist to see if some one will fix it for you for a cheaper price

Leappad won't recognize game cartridges and when it does, the screen goes black and returns to home page

I used the pencil eraser first on each of my daughter's cartridges. Then I used a qtip to rub them with rubbing alcohol. Finally I used a blow dryer to blow out where the cartridges are installed and now her games are working just fine.

There is no color

Hello
Please try the below mentioned process to troubleshoot the issue.
  1. Set the Wii console to output 480 lines of video.

  2. While on the Wii Channel Menu (main screen of the Wii), connect a Nunchuk to Wii Remote.

  3. Select the Virtual Console game from the Wii menu, then select "Start" to begin the game.

  4. When the game starts, press the Home button on the Wii Remote. (In many games, the music can be heard when the game starts.)

  5. Select "Operations Guide" from the Home menu.

  6. Press the Z + A + 2 Button simultaneously (the Z Button is on the Nunchuk). A sound will be heard if the button combination has been entered correctly.

  7. Close the Home menu. The game display should now be correct.

Hello,I have "Harry Potter and

After a couple of days of working on this, I've found that you have to play this in the Window 98/Widnows ME to get the clock speed synced correctly. I'm using Windows 7, so to do it, I first had to right click on the HP game icon on the desk top and select Properties then the Compatibility tab. Then I selected to "Run this program as an administrator" which automatically booted up the game. I then exited the game and did the same thing again (right click on the icon to the Properties Option, then select Compatibility). I then used the drop-down menu to select the Windows 98/Windows ME version. Then when the program executed, it prompted me to make sure I wanted to use this mode (previous times I tried this didn't work and this prompt didn't show up).

Doing it this way, you have to execute the game from the desk top and not use the autoexec that comes up when you put the CD in.

I hope this works for you!

How do u download psp games

Hello,

to learn how to download psp games, follows the steps below and you won't have any problems:

  1. Download desired game from an Internet game site onto your computer.
  2. Connect the PSP to the computer using the USB cable. The memory stick needs to be in the console at the time of connection.
  3. Copy the downloaded game files into the PSP game path on the removable drive. This puts the downloaded game onto the PSP memory stick.
  4. Disconnect the PSP from the computer once the game has been fully transferred.
  5. Look in the PSP main menu from the game folder. Scroll to "Game" and select the memory stick option. Press the "X" button to display the list of available games.
  6. Select the downloaded game and begin playing.
I hope this would be of help to you.

Take care.

I don't know how to play!!!

I'm not entirely sure what the problem is, but I'm guessing you are having trouble with the touch screen controls.
Games like these tend to use the bottom screen (touch screen) almost exclusively.
This screen can sense touch over the entire surface and only senses if you touched it or not.
Use the packaged styles and tap on the screen like you would with a mouse on a computer.
Be sure not to apply more pressure than needed as this can damage the screen over some time.

If all else fails just try taping everything that looks tap able.
If it uses the buttons however, its common that the A button accepts a selection and the B button cancels and goes back to a previous menu.
The Directional pad on the left being for moving the menu selection.
The in game controls will vary, but these days on the DS they most likely use these controls alone unless stated otherwise.

Don't be afraid to try it out and see what does what. Just remember to not use more pressure than needed. Though the DS can handle a bit of punishment thankfully.

I hope this helps out somehow.
Good luck with the games and have fun.

Nintendo DS Lite

I'm not to familiar with the DS's but i beleive that is how they are supposed to boot if a cartridge is already in the unit. If not then there may be an option when booting without a cartridge where you can change the settings so that it will boot to the main DS screen before booting the game. I would check this first then seek further help from a more adequate expert on here.

Language

If it altered the selected language in the game too, there should be a option in the game where you should be able to change the language. In most games at start up there is usually a menu screen where you can select:" new game, options, continue,(it sometimes might vary)" Language settings (if any at all) are usually found in "game options."

Exactly what game is this problem on? I'm assuming that since your daughter changed the language, that she knows how to go back to the DS configuration settings to select the language. If that is the area of information that you did need though, You can post another comment here asking that.

If what I've posted isn't helpful, a recommended place for DS and game support is found here:http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/index.jsp

High School Musical game - language

I got this from the disney.com/videogames web-site. It works.
1. Put in game and turn on.
2. At Menu tap the bottom listing (Op...)
3. Tap the top listing until English appears. It goes through a bunch of languages.
4. Then hit the arrow on lower left of screen and you are all set.
