You have one of a couple problems. First the piston is not moving freely to advance the nails, the magazine might not be set for the nails being used, or the collation is not correct, or the feed pawl spring is broken, and the driver might not be retracting fully to allow the next nail to feed. What I would do is remove all the nails, and get a block of wood and open the door that holds the nails in place and look for free movement on the feed pistion and how the driver is functioning. If all appears OK unplug the air and check the spring on the feed pawl, also check to make sure not gummed up from asphalt, If the feed piston is not snapping it could be an oring or debris in the air hole feeding into it. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Why does my Senco SN 901 XP frame nailers driver stay forward?

not sure what powers the senco if it works on combustion or air could be damage O rings. Another possibility is a trapped nail under the blade. Have seen where a nail has not been driven out of the magazine but has bent and points down the magazine close to end of gun. What happens is the blade drives over the nail but becomes trapped between nail and roof of the nose assy. Probably need to strip the gun a little.

What degree nails

Hi, Senco 601's use a 34 Degree Strip nail. Easiest way to remember is this when thinking of Senco strip nailers:
601 and 651 are 34 Degree clipped head nails
602 and 652 are 20 Degree FULL round head nails

I have a senco coil roof nailer that all of a sudden is leaking air big time and will not coil and fire nails. What parts do I need to replace.

depends on where the air is leaking from. If you go to senco.com and type in your model number you can look at a breakdown and they will list the rebuild kits specific to the leakage, they make an upper o ring kit and a lower kit for this problem. Let me know if you need more assistance or where the air is leaking along with the model number and I will find a number for the rebuild kit. Also the senco kits have detailed instructions on how to install them.

My Senco SFN1 finish nailer will not shoot a nail. When the trigger is pulled air comes out but no nail is shot. Thanks,Steve L

Not sure about Senco but most have latch you can open to expose firing mechanism. Nail sometimes gets jammed and will not allow driver to fire or if not nail push driver ****** all the way back into gun then see if gun will fire.

Senco 601 nailer shoots 2 nails each time the trigger is pulled.

the 601 had a design flaw, in the nose, where the nails hit as the are being pushed forward, the peice was made out of a peice of metal that was too soft, it wore down and that is where you get the double nail problem.

Senco offered a trade in, this was years ago, for a limited time and gave us credit towards new guns, which we gladly did

SENCO COIL ROOFING GUN DOESNT ADVANCE NAILS EVERY THRID OR FOURTH NAIL DOESNT ADVANCE

Clean the track and piston by removing nail tray (there are a couple of allen screws)and removing the gunk from the nail tape and if you have been shooting something glued that to. Remove head assembly and thoroughly clean and oil that also. that should fix you right up I have a couple of these guns and that is typical.
If that is no the problem rebuild the gun it is worth it as they are a great air gun
Hope this helped

Senco roofing nailer 200r not feeding nails because hammer stays down after firing which gets in the way of the next nail being fed in.

You have a problem with o rings or the firing valve. I would go to Senco.com and they have a parts breakdown with a list of kits that are available for the tool. They also have a toll free tech support number is you need it.
