Use only alkaline batteries, rechargeable batteries do not have sufficient voltage to fully charge the heli.

High altitude operation of a ryi2200 generator (5000 ft)

You require a high altitude carb (or carb jet) to operate correctly at this altitude. The jets are smaller to compensate for the thin air.

You need to get in touch with Ryobi to see if they sell them.

Do not adjust anything else on the generator!!!!

I have an Ef3000iseb runs great here at or about 5000 ft. go up in the mountains it starts loading up and wont run. is there a higher altitude kit?

Yes thats true
there is high altitude re jetting in the carburator your carb has to be re jetted for the normal operation of the generator at high altitudes by the authorised personel but when you will bring it back again at the orignal altitude it will get heated quickly and may not function properly so you will have to bring the carb settings to its orignal position so be careful

Need an emissions schamatic for my 1984 K10 silverado 305 engine

Unfortunately, there are 13 variations for this engine and year. Was this truck sold or modified for high altitude? Was it sold in California or modified to meet the CA emission standards? Does it have a manual or auto transmission? After narrowing down based on answers to these questions, there are still alternative configurations depending on the particular equipment, so look carefully at the diagrams to see which components are used on your engine. Sometimes you can match the 3 letter code for the diagram to letters in the VIN or a sticker in the engine compartment. Please let me know if you have questions.

I can not set altitude on my TCM Winter sport Watch

Go to altitude view (ALTI) - may need to press 'Sensor' (top left) once, and then 'Mode' (bottom left) to display.
Press and hold Mode until display starts flashing. Keep pressing Mode until the setting you want to change is flashing, then use right-hand side buttons to change.
Press and hold Mode again to get out of the setting interface.
The different altitude settings which you can change between using the Start/stop (top right) button:
ZERO - for use when skiing or when you want to measure a relative change in altitude.
ALTI - Input known measurement above sea level
SEAP. - Current air pressure
F.DEF - Factory reset barometer to 1013.2hPa

I can do the same ride with the unit on different bikes and get a variation in total ascent by as much as 200 feet

When starting your device, it acquires sttaelites progressively, then the altitude accuracy is not good at the beginning, so starting altitude and final altitude are not identical if you ride a loop.
Other possible cause is that the cumulation of small errors makes cumulative altitude to vary.
Garmin connect offers a feature that corrects the altitude by smoothing the waypoints, and also by using topology points.
Go to http://connect.garmin.com/
Then upload your data from your garmin device to the garmin connect database, and use the feature named "altitude correction" bottom left of the screen where your ride is detailed

Alti does not read correct alti.

Don't forget that the altimeter is barometric, and therefore the altitude reading will change depending on the air pressure - i.e. the weatherman may give the 'high pressure coming through' or that there is a low pressure giving rain - to get the true altitude, you need to know the true air pressure at any given point on the earth ~(where you are) then set this as the 'normal'. you will then get the correct altitude. Don't forget that if you are in a pressurised aircraft - as in allcommercial flights, the cabin air pressure is artificially kept at appx 4000-6000ft altitude

High Altitude Electric Heaters

I have never heard of altitude effecting the electric. Watts amps and volts are different than burning a gas, like propane. The high altitude has less oxygen thus requiring the combustion to be effected. If your wires are over heating when you use maximum wattage (amps) you need to install larger wire with the correct size breaker. Look up ohms law. Its a basic electrical formula and will help you get this right.

Incorrect altitude changes

Here is the link to the user manual for this watch if you need it; http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/k2100/manual.pdf page 12 gives you all the contact details for lacrosse. I couldnt find the info online to be sure, but some of these watches do have a separate pressure sensor for altitude and barometric pressure, and sometimes the path to one could get blocked or it could become faulty. I would contact la crosse and find a dealer to get the watch serviced, you could probably do it yourself but you need to get replacement seals from them anyway (these are important). ask them to check if the sensor is clogged, it happens sometimes. Hope this helps :)
