There is a small hole on the back of the SYNET07526 about 1 inch diagonal from the lower right corner of the data plate. an unbent paper clip can be used to energize a micro switch that will reboot the machine. However this does not eliminate all of your data as it just reloads what is in the Win file. I would suggest that you down load the upgrade at www.digitalgadgets .com and upgrade the machine which should load everything over top of the existing data and effectively eliminate all of your personal data.

Performing a Hard Reset on a LG Optimus GT540 A full reset is sometimes referred to as a hard reset. Perform a full reset when you want to clear all settings, programs and data from RAM.

Caution if you perform a full reset, your LG Smartphone returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM.

(CAUTION! If you perform a factory (full) reset, all user applications and user data will be deleted. Please remember to back up any important data before performing a factory reset.)

Not open windows of my pocket pc

Hi there,
You need to reset your i-mate Jam, for doing so please follow these instruction
i-Mate JAM soft reset
Resetting Your Pocket PC Phone

You can perform a soft reset or a full reset. During a soft reset, the device is restarted and only some data in opened programs may be lost. However, a full reset turns the battery off, returns the device to its original factory settings, and deletes all programs, files, contacts and other information you have saved to the device. Therefore, it is extremely important to back up data to a storage card or your computer on a regular basis in the event that a full reset has to be performed.

To perform a soft reset

If your Pocket PC Phone responds slowly, stops responding, or freezes, you can soft reset it. A soft reset causes the Pocket PC Phone to restart and re-adjust memory allocation. Unsaved data in any opened applications may be lost. Use the stylus to press and hold the Reset button, as shown on the next page.

To perform a full reset

A full device reset clears memory, deletes all data and restores the Pocket PC Phone to its default settings. Programs installed at the factory remain, erasing all data that you have created and programs you have installed. Press and hold the power button, and then use the stylus to press the soft reset button at the same time. Be sure you have backed up all your data in a SD card or on your PC before performing a full reset.

I have a white Sony Mylo . I forgot my password and cannot use it without one. How do I reset the settings or password?

IMPORTANT: This procedure will remove (reset) all passwords and delete all personal information, files and folders from the internal memory of the personal communicator.
If the four digit password that is prompted for when the mylo is started has been lost, forgotten, or does not work, a master reset procedure will need to be performed. To do this, on the mylo keyboard, simultaneously press and hold the FN , Sym and BS keys for at least 5 seconds. hope this helps.
