Question about Cell Phones
I personally wouldn't risk further damage by taking it apart to try and dry it off. one trick i use and it may seem silly but does work is to soak it in uncooked rice for a few hours the rice will pull out the water after some time and can help the device work. If the device had been submerged or soaked for any substantial amount of time with the battery in it, it may be a lost cause fyi.
