RAW images are what it means. You should convert them into a printable format such as JPEG before you can take prints. I strongly suggest that you shoot in JPEG mode to avoid all these headaches!

Is it possible to use digital zoom and shoot photos in manual mode?

Although your EOS 600D does not support digital zoom, while shooting, the same effect can be reached when the picture is already on the memory card. If you want to zoom in later (Crop) please shoot in RAW (or RAW + JPG) Only then all details will be preserved. Later you then can crop the part you wanted to have in the first place. I know your camera can crop the pictures you want to print from the camera. I'm not sure you also can edit RAW pictures and later save them (cropped) as a jpg.

I have lost my camera book and need help .when I try to print pics at Walgreens computer will not load pics.it says no photos available.but I can take pics fine and look at them on cf card in camera b

You may download the manual and more from here.

Are you possibly shooting pictures in RAW format? Photo kiosks such as those at Walgreens won't recognize Canon RAW photos, only JPEGs. Check the camera's image quality settings, as described beginning on page 60 of the manual.

I accidentally took over 300 pics in raw mode on my new camera & now i cant get them to my computer or print them directly from my memory card what can i do to get my pics?

If your camera can shoot in raw it should have come with some raw processing software. You need to install that software on your computer to be able to access your pictures. In that software there will be an option to convert files. You want to convert all of your files to .jpeg.

When i try to import pics my computers do not recognize the file format. I use windows vista and ms-7

Are you shooting jpeg or raw? Try using a card reader instead of your camera to download.

Canon SD 630 - photos are on the card and can be viewed on the camera, but they are not visible when connected to the computer

On your computer make sure you are looking at the correct folder. This is a common problem.
Another thing is if the camera is shooting the pictures in the RAW mode, you will need the proper software in the computer to see the RAW format pictures.

My canon xsi digital camera is not functioning the way it should.

This is normal for an XSi. What might be causing this:
-Picture setting producing huge picture files (RAW vs JPEG) -SD card not of same class, try using a faster card, such as a Class 6 or 10

SD Card in Nikon F10 not recognised by XP

It could be one of two problems. The most likely is that the card reader you are using cannot read SDHC cards, of which all 4GB and larger cards are. Try using the camera's cable to download to your computer directly to the USB port. I bet you'll find that it works that way. The other problem could be (but not likely) that you are shooting on the RAW file format, instead of the jpeg file format. Most software cannot recognize RAW files, but jpeg is pretty universal.

Camera set to RAW, but pics showing up as JPEG when viewed, stored

Some cameras will shoot RAW + JPEG, and save a copy of each in a different directory on the card.

Re-check your owners manual, and also check the manufacturer's website for a firmware update...

There are important pictures tied up in the camera that I cant get to download to the card. raw is a word that shows on the screen.

If you shoot in RAW format these files will have an .NEF extention. Programs that can open these files are: Adobe CS3/Camera Raw, Nikon Picture Project, Nikon Capture, or BibblePro. All except Picture Project are commercial. Picture Project shouldve come with the camera, but is available on the nikonusa.com website.
